Private hideaway nestled in the woods less than a mile from downtown Langley, Whidbey Island's "Village by the Sea." 2 BR, 2 BA cabin + 1 BA studio cottage. Comfortably sleeps 4 in main cabin and 2 in detached cottage. Great for families, couples and groups of friends. Fire place, cathedral ceiling, wood interior, tasteful decor, spacious living area, & large garden with fruit trees, rabbits and deer. Well-behaved pets accepted, but reservation will be amended with $25 per night per pet fee. The space What we love about the cabin: the wood interior, the cathedral ceiling, the fire place, the third floor loft which we use as a meditation area, the many windows, the sky lights, the antique rocking chairs, the long window seat in the living room, the open floor plan, the loft master bedroom overlooking the living room, the many decks, and the bucolic views from just about every window. What we love about the cottage: the charm, the fire place, the porch, the rocking chairs, the privacy, the proximity to the cabin, the sky lights, and the simple but tasteful decor. What we love about the garden: the size (almost half an acre), the woodsy feel, the wildlife (including rabbits, deer, squirrels, and many varieties of birds), the fruit trees, the beauty of our neighbor's garden, and the privacy. Sleeping accommodations: The cabin has two bedrooms--the upstairs master loft has a queen bed with a gel foam mattress topper and the downstairs bedroom has bunk beds (twin over full). In addition, we have multiple 4-inch deluxe camping pads if needed--just ask where they are. The cottage has a queen bed with a gel foam mattress topper. We also have a pack 'n' play for little ones! Guest access Outdoors: you are welcome to explore our entire 1/2 acre property except for the garage, which we use for storage. There are approximately five parking spaces in front of the garage. Indoors: you will have access to and may use all amenities found in both the cabin and cottage. We ask only that you be mindful and respectful of what you use and please do not take anything with you (including books). Other things to note No TV, but there is fiber optic high speed internet (100+ Mbps) and lots of books, puzzles, and board games. There is a two-story fire pole from the loft master bedroom to the living room, but we ask that you not use it (out of concern for safety). There is a locked safety gate upstairs to prevent falls. Cell phone service may be spotty for T-Mobile customers. Propane barbecue on back porch. We accept well-behaved pets, but please note that your reservation will be amended with a pet fee of $25 per night. Please keep pets off the furniture and beds, and on a leash at all times when outside. The yard is not fenced and there are bunnies, deer and chickens in the area.
