This is the first-floor apartment of a 150+-year-old two-family colonial house. After parking in your dedicated driveway adjacent to the porch steps, you'll walk across to the (original) front door. A spacious foyer leads directly to both the newly renovated kitchen & living room. Through the French doors in the living room is a large bedroom with an ensuite bathroom (there's an additional door to the bathroom through the kitchen). New laundry machines are free and located in the basement. The space This home is a great spot to hang out or just keep your things while you enjoy all Newport has to offer in the summer! It's 1.5 miles to Easton's Beach, only a few blocks to the Broadway area (restaurants and shops and bars), and close to West Main Road if you want to get to Middletown/Portsmouth or across the bridge easily! Recently updated decor, linens, and kitchen items; move-in with just a suitcase and feel right at home :) Guest access You have access to the entire first floor, the basement (this is where the shared laundry facilities are located), front porch, and driveway on the left side of the house. Other things to note This is a small neighborhood where you can enjoy peace and quiet away from a busy Newport (particularly in the summer). Many of the neighbors chose this area of Newport because of its 'off-the-beaten-path nature, so please do your best to keep the noise down (especially after 9pm and before 8am) and do not host loud/outdoor guests and parties.
