The cottage has two bedrooms, one with a queen bed and one with two twin beds. Linens and towels are provided. The kitchen is equipped with a stove, oven, fridge, microwave, electric tea kettle, coffee pot. The cottage can sleep up to 7 with the two pull out sofa beds. There is a canoe, a paddle boat, dock, firepit,hammock and raft. No life guards on duty so all swimming and boating is at one's own risk. Please note that this is a rustic cottage so no heat orAC; window and ceiling fans provided. This is a cozy cottage with two boats, a raft, a double-sized picnic table, a grill and a hammock with a sun room that looks out at the serene lake. Enjoy a slice of beautiful Maine. Get away from everything and just relax. The entire cottage is yours! Though there is a house next to the cottage, it is for family use only and is rarely used when we have guests in the cottage. That means the beach, dock, raft, use of the canoe and paddle boats and use of the 16 foot long picnic table and grill are generally used only by guests. My husband, Jeff, and I are available by phone, text, and email. We or other family members may be at the neighboring house during your stay so may be able to help in person. We are a family run cottage rental and we will do everything we can to help you have a happy time at our cottage! :) Carol The cottage is on a lake with other cottages scattered around the lake. The lake allows for motor boats, but our end of the lake is very quiet and you rarely see motorized vehicles. There are neighboring cottages within view down the shore. Sometimes the kids from a neighboring cottage are seen playing in the water, but other times there may be no neighbors visible. It's a very peaceful place. The fishing is good too. If you want a canoeing adventure, canoe around to the right and you'll find a meandering stream with no houses around. If you are very adverturous and want to get out to lift the canoe over the little beaver dam on one of the right forks of that stream, you'll end up at Mud Pond (... it's not really muddy) which is a quiet little lake with no cottages. The town of Poland with an ice cream stand, a little breakfast restaurant and other little shoping places including a Dollar Store and soon a large Hannifords grocery store, is about 10 minutes away. The cottage is at the end of a dirt road. Follow the signs that say Blueberry Cove Cottage or show a picture of blueberries. :) When you pull into our drive, park on the grass behind the larger house and the cottage is off to the right.
