The space Conveniently located to explore the best of Northern Arizona. It is a short 15 minutes to Sedona and Jerome. An hours distance to Flagstaff and 2 ½ hours from the Grand Canyon. This beautifully renovated home is a part of local history! The Verde Dairy Cottage is almost 100 years old and was once part of a thriving dairy farm that delivered milk to the entire Verde Valley! Located on a quaint and quiet street, it is easily accessible with a private drive and entrance. It features double front doors allowing plenty of natural light and air to truly bring the outdoors in as you enjoy the beautiful and spacious surroundings. Living Space: A decorative fireplace and superior interior design create the perfect hang out area for some rest and relaxation. This home has air conditioning to keep you comfortable on warm summer days and a flat screen tv with Disney+, Amazon Prime and Pandora for a relaxing and entertaining evening in. You can also login to Netflix, Hulu and other streaming apps using your personal credentials. Wifi is provided for your convenience. Kitchen: The home has a fully stocked kitchen, complete with an electric oven/stove, microwave, dishwasher, toaster, Keurig coffee maker, crock pot, etc. It has plenty of pots and pans, BBQ utensils, and is stocked with your basic spices and oils. Coffee and tea are provided for your convenience. Loft: This stunning part of the home features two areas of sleeping space. The main loft area highlights a plush king bed, dresser and two night stands. It has a gorgeous custom-made wood railing that overlooks the main floor below. The additional loft area has two twin beds, a dresser and clothes rack--- the perfect space for kids. Curtains provide privacy to separate these two spaces of the home. *Please note that the ceilings in the loft are low with them angled lower at the headboards* **Note: Due to the nature of the loft, it may not be suitable for young children Additional sleeping space: Cozy up on the pull out sofa bed, located on the main level of the home. This convenient space can easily transform from entertaining to sleeping and can comfortably accommodate two adults. **NOTE: A pack-n-play is also provided for your little one’s convenience. Bathroom: This home’s bathroom is located on the main level. Newly renovated, it has a historical and unique feel and functionality. This spacious bathroom features a private bathtub, double spout walk-in shower, and toilet. It also is equipped with a bluetooth speaker to sound-stream music from your device. *Linens are provided for all sleeping spaces, as well as two bath towels and two washcloths for each guest. Body wash, shampoo, and conditioner are also provided for your convenience. Front Patio and Yard: Enjoy your favorite beverage on one of two entertaining spaces in the front yard. A tree swing and yard games offers great fun for the kids while the patio creates an inviting place for mid-day entertainment and outdoor dining. At night, warm up by the gas fire pit as you reminisce on the day’s adventures. Washer/Dryer: The home has a fully functional washer/dryer for your convenience. Additional Information The property is meticulously maintained, and the interior is professionally cleaned and checked before each guest. The cows rotate between surrounding fields during the warmer months while the grass is still plentiful! **NOTE: Smoke Detectors, Carbon Monoxide Detectors and Fire Extinguisher are stationed throughout the home for your safety GETTING AROUND: Minutes from wine tasting at one of Old Town’s six tasting rooms and hours of entertainment as you explore great food, art galleries, antique shops and unique boutique stores. During certain times of the year, Old Town also hosts live music, parades, and entertainment events. Outdoor adventure includes golfing, rafting, hiking, or biking around one of many surrounding trails. (AZ TPT #21340509) Guest access Guests will have access to the entire property during their stay. Other things to note Guests have access to the Verde River nearby, map for access location is provided in the welcome book. Canoes, Kayaks and other water gear can be rented a few blocks from the home and its best to launch them from the "Lower Tapco river access point" a few miles from the home. **NOTE: Due to the nature of the river area, Verde Dairy cottage and surrounding property owners are not liable for injuries. Life jackets are provided for your safety in the stairs closet. ALL children must be accompanied by an adult at all times. While the exterior porch and furniture is cleaned after each stay, during certain times of the year you may experience more debris from wind, weather, native plants, and pollen. In the event the outdoor space is not sufficiently clean to your liking we provide a broom and basic cleaning supplies that can be used at your convenience! Please, no pets (not even just to visit), parties, or smoking in or around the property. Additional minimum $100 fine for each violation will be charged to the guest who booked and you will forfeit the remainder of your stay with no refund. If you desire an early check in, please reach out to us the morning of your scheduled arrival. We do our absolute best to accommodate early check in's when possible. We often have same day check outs and check ins so we just need to ensure that our cleaner has enough time to properly clean and restock the home and that our maintenance crew has sufficient time to take care of any needed items prior to your arrival. Booking over 2 weeks (14 days) will require a mandatory mid-stay cleaning, billed separately, in addition to the cleaning charged at booking. We do accept alterations requests, but ask that they be made at least 14 days prior to the start of your original reservation date. Acceptance of the alteration request is at the host's discretion.
