Winsted /Winchester House wifi high speed internet

This Winchester property has been in our family for over 70 years. Within a 15 minute drive you can enjoy skiing, waterfalls, CT wine trail, beer breweries, boating, and fishing. Or you can also just stay home and enjoy a beautiful view next the the outdoor fire pit. Enjoy game nights with the family, friends, and so much more. Our family has enjoyed countless holidays and family gatherings over the past several decades. Recently due to the COVID 19 many families have used the house to telework. The house is equipped with high speed internet/wifi. There are also near by grocery / drug stores for supplies. We are excited to share our home with others to enjoy this wonderful place. The space The Winchester house is nestled in the foothills of the Berkshires. The house sits aside countless acres of woods which back up directly to the side of (what I, from South Jersey, call) a mountain. Our family utilizes the house as a getaway from the hustle and bustle of daily life. At night you can enjoy sitting by the outside fire pit while enjoying a glass of local wine or beer from our nearby wineries/ breweries. During the day you can enjoy visiting nearby Haystack Mountain or take a refreshing dip at the beautiful Campbell's Falls located 15 minutes away. In the fall, enjoy hiking and taking in the foliage. In the winter there are several ski mountains located within 45 minutes, such as Ski Sundown or Butternut less than 30 minutes away. Or just stay at the house and enjoy sledding on the side of the property. After a long day of skiing and/or sledding, you can warm up in the upstairs sauna. There are also several lakes/ponds in the area that offer fishing/swimming/boating. All in all it's just a great place to get away and relax. The nearby small towns have plenty to offer in terms of food, entertainment, grocery stores and scenery. Most importantly the house has high speed wifi/internet as many people have worked from home during their stay! Guest access Guest can access the entire property with the exception of the outside shed crawlspace and two inside closets. Feel free to sled on the side hill at your own risk during the winter months. Other things to note During the winter you can buy firewood for the inside stove from the local gas station, 954 Main St, Winsted, CT 06098. Don't burn anything but precut wood in the inside fireplace. In the winter feel free to forage for dead wood and burn it in the outside fire pit built which is into the mountain. The house is equipped with high speed internet/wifi. Cotton sheets and towels are provided.
