Lakefront Family Cottage Retreat North Muskoka

Our cottage is surrounded by a forest of cedars, pines, hemlocks and white birches at the end of a quiet bay on lovely Loon Lake. The bright, three-bedroom cottage features a shallow entry beach and will provide the perfect cottage experience ensuring a wonderful family vacation!!!! Experience winter at the cottage and enjoy snowmobiling trails, cross country skiing or just cozying up beside the wood stove (must be experienced using wood stove) while enjoying the winter view of the lake. The space From the cottage living room you have a beautiful view of Loon Lake. Step out onto the deck and the beautiful view of Loon Lake continues. From the deck you are just steps to the beach and the dock. On the dock you can sun or just sit on one of the muskoka chairs and take in the evenings. Guest access Access to a canoe, 2 kayaks and a paddle boat will provide you hours of water fun exploring Loon Lake. Other things to note Note - there is internet access however there is very limited cell phone service. For those rainy days or just to have fun from the sun and lake there is a games room which offers a fooze ball table and air hockey game. In the evening as the sun sets you can continue to enjoy the outdoors around a camp fire pit on the beach roasting marshmallows and making smorse. For those renting early spring, late fall when the weather is colder or in the winter. The primary source of heat is a wood burning stove/fireplace - if you are to rent during that period you must be experienced at using a wood burning stove/fireplace. Secondary heat is provided by baseboard heaters in each room.
