The McGill house is located one block off of Lake Avenue in downtown Lake Worth and walking distance to the beach. Enjoy fine and casual dining on the Avenue. The space The McGill house is located just one block off of the Avenue in the downtown area. Busy with shops, restaurants, pubs, a live theater play house, an eclectic independent movie house and several live music venues. Walking distance to most everything, including the local green market and grocery store. The restaurant scene in Lake Worth is quite diverse from fancy to flip flops. There is fine Italian and French dining , a top notch Steak House, sports pubs with great bar food and many other culinary flavors and styles to explore. What you won't find in the downtown area is a national chain restaurant. All who are here in town are local family owned places. This historic Lake Worth cottage is one of the 7 oldest homes in Lake Worth. The McGill's were one of the 1st families who came to Lake Worth in 1912 to start in the new farming initiative. An open and spacious living area with nine foot ceilings and original hardwood floors. The master bedroom is also very large with the same high 9 foot ceilings. A relaxing back yard area with a bbq grill available. We have a fully equipped kitchen for making yourself at home and creating fine meals. Or, enjoy fine and casual dining on the Avenue. Fun places with tasty adult beverages are plentiful. Guest access This vacation cottage is a single family home and not a shared room rental. Access is from the front side on M street, with a driveway for 2 cars and lots of on street parking. I live here at the property in the back cottage. Both houses have separate private entrances.
