Our home is close to the Seneca Wine Trail, craft breweries and eateries yet far enough away to relax. Feel free to enjoy the country charm and surrounding property. Farm fresh eggs and fresh vegetables for picking may be seasonally available. Friends, adventurers, travelers, families (with kids), big groups, and furry friends (pets) will appreciate the country comfort and space to relax and enjoy the beauty of the finger lakes. The farm is close to the action on the wine trail but one mile off the main road and you are transported to acres of wooded trails, a vegetable garden (in season), a private campfire if desired, and even a porch swing to enjoy your coffee. Guests will have access to 80 acres of wooded trails, gorge hiking and gorge exploring. Family pet, Gus , the kooky Cockapoo is still a work in progress but still a “fan favorite”, and will happily accompany you on walks. Kids love collecting the fresh chicken eggs and seeing the horses run through the pastures. Photo opportunities galore and numerous antique pieces of farm equipment to explore. But only if you want too! Within walking distance of the Red Newt Winery. 1 mile from Seneca Wine Trail, public beach and boat access from Smith Park, near the now famous Stone Cat Restaurant and Hazlitt Winery Plenty of parking. Uber’s Taxis and Lyft services are either non existent or very limited. Do not rely on these services to get around. A private driver or service is a better option. Traveling with your dog. We know people love traveling with their pets. There is plenty of room to walk and hike with them. While we understand that there are times that your pet will not accompany you on your outings we would ask that they are quiet or crated in your absence. We do not charge a general cleaning fee but we do charge a 75.00 fee if you decide to bring your pet. If you are considering traveling with your pet please let me know in advance. We have one dog on the property and would like things to be harmonious. Typically we allow one dog per booking. Finger Lakes Wine Country KNOW BEFORE YOU GO: Please note that although there are wine tour bus companies booking large groups, despite communications being sent about group limitations, most of the wineries are not accepting groups larger than 4 or 6 at this time, and some require an advanced reservation for tastings. Failing to adhere to these limitations, or reserving with others who don't, will risk you and your group being turned away and we would absolutely hate that.
