Located on the north side of the village, there are a variety of hiking trails a short distance from the chalet which will lead you to a wonderland of nature and stunning Alpine scenery. There is a large multi-storey car park at Lauterbrunnen train station, with trolleys for your luggage and lifts to the station platforms. It is just a 14-minute scenic cog train ride up to Wengen. The trains depart every 30 minutes until 9.30 pm and then hourly. Taxis are available for hire at Wengen train station if you require assistance to your chalet.
