Villa Olympia is a newly renovated stone villa, finished with modern design. It has 7 bedrooms and 5 bathrooms and a fully equipped kitchens in the 2 living areas. Plenty of outside seating and dining areas and 2 swimming pools. There is airco in all the bedr. and living area and free Wi-fi in and outside. The villa can accommodate up to 22 persons. Without calculating babies, baby cots available upon request. Villa Olympia is a newly renovated stone villa, finished with modern design. It has 7 bedrooms and 5 bathrooms. The villa is split in 2 units, each with a separate entrance and each with a living room and fully equipped kitchen. The first unit has 2 bedrooms with double beds and also an extra single bed that is filled with comfy cushions and can be used as a relax sofa if not an extra single bed, and tv. There's the possibility to add a baby cot or a folding bed in these 2 bedrooms. These bedrooms each have ensuite bathrooms with showers. The other 2 bedrooms have each a comfortable tailor-made bunk bed that can accommodate up to 3 persons. (Underneath there's a drawer with a mattress (90x200 cm) for the 3rd person). One of these bedrooms is a continious room that leads to one of the double bedrooms and the large bathroom. The main third bathroom has a freestanding bathtub and a walk-in shower to relax in comfort and style. There is also a washing machine and dryer. All tv's have internet and Netflix. The living room has a comfortable sleeping couch and a dining table, with an open kitchen, which is fully equipped with fridge/freezer, oven, microwave, ceramic cooker, dishwasher, coffee maker, Nespresso machine, toaster, water kettle and much more to make the best dishes in the comfort of your home with your friends and/or family. The second unit has 3 bedrooms, one with a double bed, large wardrobe and tv, and 2 bedrooms with each 2 single beds. These 2 bedrooms are in duplex-style, see pictures. There is a bathroom with a shower and a washing machine and a separate bathroom next to the living room. The living room with a fully equipped kitchen with sleeping couches where 4 persons can sleep comfortably and a large smart tv. In all the bedrooms and living areas there is airconditioning. Baby cots are made available for infants and are considered as guests in the end price. Because the system only allows for a maximum of 16 guests ask for information if you are with more. Outside, there is a stone barbeque with charcoal where you can grill and roast all your goodies in no time, and an extra steel bbq. There is a 3 meter large wooden outside dining table and more extra dining tables to accommodate more people if needed. In front of the living areas, there are large pergolas with comfortable outside sitting corner-lounges where you can relax in the shade. There are several sitting areas and also on the roof terrace you will find pergolas giving shade to relax and enjoy the views with the sea facing north and the majestic mountains on the south side. The garden has a lawn and many palms and other trees, flowers and more... Then we have a wooden patio with the swimming pool and some sun loungers where you can relax and sunbathe. As a bonus there's a second swimming pool of 50 sqm for your enjoyment and a large grass football field. Next to the pool there is a large grass field with a volleyball net, which you can lower to play tennis if wanted. Paralia Kournas is also called Kavros and is a small beach town, where you can find shops, cafeterias, bars, tavernas and supermarkets and access to the beach. The 9 km (6 mi) sandy beach is the main attraction of the area, with Kalyvaki beach on the other side of the river as well. The small fishing village, Georgioupolis, less than 4 km, is very much a tourist town now, with many cafés, tavernas and small hotels and apartment blocks. The town square has been renovated with fountains and is surrounded by outdoor seating used by tourists enjoying their drinks and ice creams. Nearby Lake Kournas, less than 4 km, is also a popular excursion. Crete’s only freshwater lake, has a perimeter of 3,5 km and a diameter of almost one km. You can find taverns and restaurants overlooking the lake and down at the lake there are more. During the tourist season there are paddle boats, canoes and sunbeds for enjoyment. Argyroupoli is a village in the municipality of Lappa, Rethymno, altitude 260m. It was previously known as Lappa. Most of the drinking water in the region comes from here and worth a visit, with small waterfalls, and many tavernas. Less than 16 km, about 15 minutes by car is the city of Rethymnon, it is an old Venetian harbour town, with a lot of history, numerous Byzantine churches and monasteries, enchanting Venetian monuments, the most well-preserved Renaissance city in Greece, with endless beaches, caves, gorges and unique flora and fauna. Less than 40 km, about 40 minutes by car is the city of Chania, it constitutes a crossroad of civilizations and continents with a long history, natural beauty, unique architecture and rich tradition. The main characteristic of the city is the Venetian port of the old city with the Egyptian lighthouse that has survived for many centuries and attracts the eye of residents and visitors Other things to note Baby cots are made available for infants and are considered as guests in the end price.
