The Mill House: Dog Friendly Cabin

All guests must be at least 21 years of age, unless accompanied by parent or guardian. We chose the site for The Mill House because of its close proximity to a century-old grist mill across the creek. We do allow one four-legged friend to join you in the cabin. The space Frog Holler Cabins is pleased to offer "The Mill House," a 400 square foot, one bedroom cabin: clean and privately tucked away in the woods. This cabin is pet friendly. It features all the comforts of home, plus a relaxing hot tub on the back deck! Inside, it features a comfortable queen size bed, full size sleeper sofa, gas fireplace, WiFi, Satellite TV with Roku, kitchen with basic cooking and eating utensils, 20" oven/four burner stovetop, 5' refrigerator/freezer, microwave, toaster, drip coffeemaker, and bath with walk-in shower. We provide bed linens and enough bath linens for one towel and one washcloth per day, per person, as well hot tub towels, but no maid service. Guests can enjoy our 25 acre, heavily wooded property, surrounded on three sides by Big Elkin Creek. We have walking trails, a stocked "catch and release" fishing pond, and plenty of peace and quiet! Frog Holler offers wine tours to our guests and anyone from the general public over the age of 21. All tours are private, group discounts are available, and all tours must be scheduled in advance. Cabin reservation is not confirmation that a tour will be available, so please feel free to confirm tour availability before making cabin reservation. There is so much to do here in the Yadkin Valley: trout fishing, hiking, Stone Mountain State Park, Blue Ridge Parkway, rafting, art galleries, golf, antiques, fine dining, numerous vineyards and wineries, historic downtowns, and much much more! Guest access Hike along our trail that follows Big Elkin Creek or enjoy fishing in our stocked, catch and release fishing pond! Feel free to bring a blanket and relax in the sun on our large grassy field or sit back and relax on the covered deck overlooking the waterfalls of the creek! Other things to note We allow one medium/large dig or two “toy” breeds in The Mill House. It must be crated if left alone in the cabin and kept on a leash while out of the property. We provide pet bags for you to clean up after it as well. We prefer that dogs stay off the loveseat and bed, but if they do get up on them, please place a blanket or sheet under your dog to help cut down on dirt and/or hair. A $30, plus tax, pet fee will be charged.
