Winterbury Farm, located in Colonial Beach, is a beautiful secluded house built in the 1800's on 5 acres. Here you will find chickens roaming, goats grazing and a peaceful view! The Farm is the perfect location; just a short 10 minute drive to the golf-cart friendly town of Colonial Beach and 25 minutes to Westmoreland State Park. Your private area of the farmhouse includes 2 cozy bedrooms with original hardwood floors and peaceful views of the pasture, a full size bathroom and eat in kitchen. One bedroom holds a luxurious king size bed and writing desk while the other bedroom has a comfy queen bed. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you may need to cook a gourmet meal. The hosts live on the other side of the house and it is all vert private, but they are there if you need anything. The house has a private side entrance where you are able to access your private living quarters. You are more than welcome to roam the grounds and visit the goats and chickens or sit and relax at the outdoor farm table. Upon arrival please use the second entrance and park near the well. The side door is under a white arbor. Upon arrival the side entrance will be open and a key will be sitting inside for you to use during your stay. We do live in the main part of the house so if you need anything we are available to help. Located on a private street surrounded by roaming pastureland. It is a truly serene setting where you can relax and escape the bustle of daily stresses. We are just ten minutes to the beach and stores! There is plenty of parking on the property and you will need a car to travel around the area. If you'd like to add a special touch to your stay, you are able to request a romantic dinner for you and your guests or you can take part in a private cooking class all from a classically trained chef.
