Rustic house in Carbondale, IL suburbs

Close (5 miles) to Carbondale and family-friendly activities . Fine for couples, solo adventurers, relativse and researchers visiting SIUC. Quiet and rural, its a place to get a really good sleep. Sunny rooms, big windows, trees, birds and peaceful ambience. A cat lives here! Not a good place if you have allergies. "Rustic" because its a little rough; flaws include things like half-done paint jobs. It's an older home I'm always trying to make nicer. If you are ok with that, come stay! The space There's a cat who will greet you. She is friendly and affectionate and might need water bowl filled occasionally! Place is an acre of food forest tucked in a cul de sac. You might find blackberries in season. The guest bedroom has its own sink and toilet off the room. The guest bed is marvellous according to friends. There is a shared shower and bath across the hall. If I'm not home, you have run of the place. Guest access You have access to the whole house except my bedroom. During your stay I will serve you coffee or tea in the morning if I am here. Ursula the cat will otherwise greet you and keep you company. She has a self feeding catbowl and should be able to get in and out herself through a cat door. Other things to note Not for people who are allergic to cats. There are stairs. Guns are not allowed in my house.
