Four rooms just 3 miles from Main Street in Placerville but you'll feel like you're far away from the busy world. Four acres of privacy with a creek to explore. Apple Hill Farm season opens in mid-August and we’re very close to the Farm Trails. Wineries and things to do are everywhere, including river rafting! You’re also just an hour from Tahoe and Sacramento but sometimes you just want to sit on your private deck with a glass of wine and relax! The space The space is the upper part of our house, with a separate entrance. The 1st room you enter is a large room you can use as an office and has a half bath. You go up a half flight of stairs to an alcove with a futon bed. There’s a door that opens to a dressing room with closet and dresser, then another half flight of stairs that leads to the main bedroom. This room has a queen bed, full bath, mini fridge, microwave, TV and private deck. Guest access Guests are welcome to roam where they wish on the property and gold pan in the creek. Guests need to understand they’re in the woods and may come across snakes, poison oak and the occasional deer, turkey or skunk. Other things to note There are four different sets of stairs you'll be bounding throughout your stay so if you have loads of luggage or bad hips or knees be forewarned! Small dogs are welcome but we’d rather they not stay alone unless crated. Plenty of room to play!
