Welcome to Gateway Lodge 5030, your perfect vacation getaway in beautiful Keystone, Colorado. This cozy 2 bedroom, 2 bath condo in the scenic Mountain House area offers breathtaking views of the surrounding landscape from every room. The open-concept living area features modern decor. There is access to a private balcony with gorgeous mountain scenery. Whether you're here to ski or hike, Gateway Lodge 5030 is ideally located just steps from the ski lifts and hiking trails. STR21-00413 Winter travelers like you are looking for that sweet spot. Well, look no further. Like you, we love the Winter, and Keystone has what you’re looking for. We recently made even more fun and cozy changes to our place and we're ready to welcome your family! And now to the details... Two bedroom, two bath unit with full kitchen and patio in the Gateway building and walking distance to the lifts at River Run and Mountain House. Sleeping for 8 and a location close to the Haywood Cafe, Snake River Saloon, and Dos Locos. Sleeping Set Up The Master Bedroom has a very comfy King Size bed. The second bedroom has a Full bed and a pair of twin bunk beds. The couch in the living room folds out. Kitchen There's a full kitchen including all cooking utensils and service for 12. A small but fully stocked grocery store in the building makes it very easy to quickly obtain the ingredients that you need in order to cook. Or, you can walk across the street to another small grocery store with a slightly bigger selection. Or, if you have a car, you can drive (or take the bus) to the slightly bigger grocery store on Tennis Club Dr. down the road or to the big-big grocery store in Dillon (City Market) which is about 20 min away. However you choose to do it, you're covered. If you don't want to cook, you can either go the route of frozen meals (available from the grocery store in the building or across the street) or take a 1-minute walk to the Haywood Cafe (in the building), the Snake River Saloon (just a short walk across the parking lot) or Dos Locos. The grocery store in the building even offers a small but decent selection of wine and beers other than the usual fare one would expect. Living Area The main living area is very open. It offers room for kids to play with their toys or for folks to stretch and perhaps do some yoga (a mat and basic props for practice are available). Or, you can sit in the dining area and watch the family while you glance at the game on the TV. Or you can sit at the bar in the kitchen while your partner makes a meal. Or, you can *get away* and sit at the nice little table with two bar-chairs that look out the windows while you enjoy your coffee in the morning before heading out or to focus and get a little work done on your laptop. It's up to you. There's also a gas fireplace and a patio. Patio the patio is a nice place to go out and enjoy the view of the mountain. We have 2 chairs and a table out there. It's great in the summer or when the snow is falling! Bathroom There are 2 bathrooms, one attached to the Master bedroom and the other down a short hall with the second bedroom. Each bathroom has 2 sinks, a tub, and a separate shower. There is plenty of shelf space for stuff to reside and plenty of hooks on which to hang wet gear. Both are private to each bedroom. Closet There's a coat closet just inside the front door and large closets in each of the bedrooms. Suit Up Area In the entryway is a great little spot to sit on a bench and pull off your shoes to tuck them out of the way and to hang your gear from the hooks on the wall. Other Amenities The living room and both bedrooms have flat-screen TVs mounted on the walls with basic cable (including HBO) and you can log in to different content providers as well (Netflix, Hulu, Amazon) using your own accounts. A wifi network exists for all of your connected devices. For an internet connection in the mountains, the speed is pretty good. Secure and warm garage parking is available under the building which is great. It is however first come first serve. We also have a USB charging station for your connected devices (bring your own cables) and we have a Bluetooth speaker so that you can listen to your tunes. The ski lockers (for storing your skis and boards) are very nice and are located on the first floor to the left of the elevator that services our wing of the building. Keys are hanging to the left of the front door to our unit. No key pick up necessary, direct check-in to unit available. This property comes with one parking permit for the underground garage, parking unassigned. 24/7 SERVICE This property is professionally managed by SummitCove Lodging in Keystone. We have a central office located right in Keystone and offer our guests 24/7 services during their stay. We provide a starter supply of amenities, including coffee, paper towels, toilet paper, shampoo, conditioner, and more. We provide housekeeping and maintenance services if needed during your stay. Daily housekeeping is not included but may be added for an additional fee. CHECK-IN & CHECK-OUT TIME The standard check-in time is 4 pm. The standard check-out time is 10 am. In some cases, based on availability, there will be options for paid early check-in or late check-out, but can't be confirmed until 24 hours prior to arrival or departure. BUILDING INFORMATION Gateway Lodge Features Parking Garage at the Gateway Lodge – Park one vehicle in the secure, heated underground garage at Gateway Lodge without ever having to scrape ice from your car, after all, Keystone tends to get plenty of snow in the wintertime! Closest Lodging to A-Basin – If you are planning on taking any turns at A-Basin you will love the vacation rentals at Gateway Lodge. The closest available lodging to A-Basin ski resort while being right in the middle of Keystone Resort, the location of Gateway Condos is perfect! Walking Distance to Ski Lifts – Gateway Lodge is located only a short 1/4 mile walk away is the River Run base area, featuring easy access to the slopes via gondola and many restaurants and shops. Don’t want to walk? Catch the free seasonal resort shuttle right outside the Lodge. Ground Floor Retail Center – The ground floor of Gateway houses the SummitCove Lodging check-in office, the Haywood Cafe Sports Bar and Grill, Steep Coffeehouse & Brewery, Breeze Ski Rental Shop, as well as the Cornerstone Real Estate Office. You will love having an on-premises restaurant to dine at as well as all of the other shops in this building! Everything is right here! Indoor Heated Pool & Hot Tub – Gateway Lodge features an indoor heated pool and hot tub on the premises just down the hall. Great after a long day of skiing, riding, hiking, or biking at Keystone Resort! Fitness Center – In case of skiing for 12 full hours isn’t enough for you, the fitness area at Gateway Lodge is located right down the hallway for any guest to use. The room contains a multi-functioning weight machine, treadmill, two elliptical machines, and a stationary bike. The Fitness center is located in the West Wing of the Gateway building. Internet Access – High-Speed Wireless Internet Access is available for all guests of Gateway Lodge condos. Whether in Keystone on business or for pleasure, enjoy fast internet anywhere throughout the building. Laundry Facilities – The laundry room is located directly next to the fitness room, on the first floor of Gateway Lodge in the West Wing. Most of the larger condos in Gateway Lodge have private laundry but the studio condos are welcome to use the common laundry. Beautiful Lobby – The lobby at Gateway Lodge is a beautiful and calm setting, great for relaxing and taking care of any last-minute business transactions that you may have. Enjoy the grand fireplace as you watch skiers on the mountain or kick back on the sofas for some television. Dedicated Shuttle Stop – On the east side of the Gateway building is the free seasonal resort shuttle stop that will take you around Keystone Resort.
