Corning Woodland Retreat

Recently remodeled bi-level home with lodge decor on a 9.5 acre wooded lot with beautiful 3/4 acre pond gives peaceful privacy and relaxation. While having an isolated feel, it has a/c, WiFi, dvd and firestick tv. Five miles from Corning's attractions, 20 min. to Elmira, and 35 min. from Watkins Glen and Finger Lakes. Spacious living/dining/kitchen area opens to a 12x28 deck overlooking the pond. Peaceful beauty, water, tall pines, maple trees and wildlife sightings make it hard to leave! The space Three memory foam mattresses. Extensive library of wildlife and local picture books and literature for rainy days. Gas fireplace in living room adds ambiance. Kitchen has up to date stainless steel appliances. Both full baths were recently remodeled. Enjoy smores by the fire ring at pond's edge while listening to the frogs, and watch for deer in early mornings. Guest access Entire home with in house garage is available for use, plus pond side fire ring, picnic table and on site firewood. Catch and release fishing. Other things to note There is a new mini-split AC system on the upper level. Lower level stays naturally cool and is supplemented by cooled air drifting down the open stairwell. ATT cell phone service does not work in the house. It works a short way down the road towards Corning, but we are in a dead spot. There are no reports of any other cell phone service not working. Just ATT system. WiFi does work.
