Scattered across the East Yorkshire Coast are many quaint villages with shops and inns in abundance. Filey is only 5 miles away, boasting a 5 mile stretch of award-winning sands and a long promenade with many restaurants, and Flamborough is 3 miles. The historic city of York is only an hour away, with its beautiful Minster and shops in the famous Shambles. Take a ride on the North Yorkshire Moors steam railway from Pickering to Whitby.
