RiverHouse The space This centrally-located, three-story home is an entertainment paradise with enough room to spread out between the main house and a bonus guest suite above the garage. The finished basement has been transformed into a one-stop activity hub with an exercise area, an elaborate game room with arcade games and bumper pool and billiards tables. While you're outside soaking in the private hot tub taking in the serene wooded area, it's hard to believe that you're still close to town with various dining options and only one mile from the nearest beach. The spacious tiered decks provide an ideal space to host a cookout with the gas grill or just bring your already-prepared meal to the outdoor table for an alfresco dining experience when the weather is warm. There's plenty of room for helpers as you prepare your family's favorite meal in the open, full kitchen equipped with a four-seater breakfast bar. Other dining options include the kitchen and dining room tables, as well as a breakfast nook. The adjacent guest suite is also self-sufficient, with a kitchen of its own. In addition, the guest apartment has a bedroom, full bathroom, sitting and dining areas, and one of the property's two gas fireplaces. The main house has a ground-floor bedroom and there is a primary bedroom upstairs, which offers an en suite bathroom with a huge walk-in shower and separate jetted bathtub. The property is equipped with five, individual mini-split AC units throughout the main house and guest suite. THINGS TO KNOW Streaming services available with guest's own accounts. This home is equipped with two, full kitchens. For additional sleeping options, there is a full-size futon in the basement and queen-size sofa beds in the primary bedroom, guest suite, and basement. Guest access Entry is via keypad lock on the front door. Press the Schlage button, enter your access code, and press Schlage again. Wait 3-5 seconds for the mechanism to fully disengage - you may hear a click. Then rotate the deadbolt away from the doorframe to unlock. Take your time with each step; after 4 incorrect attempts, the lock will pause for 30 seconds before you can try again. To lock the door when leaving, press the Schlage button and rotate the deadbolt back toward the doorframe. Check-in is at 4pm and check-out is at 10am. If early check-in or late checkout is available for your dates, you'll receive an email or SMS offering it. A backup lockbox is located on-site (main house to the left of the front stairs, in-law apartment near the apartment entrance) in case you need emergency access - contact the property for the lockbox code. Other things to note The main house and in-law apartment above the garage are both yours for the stay. The apartment includes a mini-split air conditioning and heating unit, a gas fireplace, and oil heat. The main house has central oil heat with four thermostats (two on the main floor, one on the second floor, one in the basement) and four mini-split units for air conditioning and heating - one in the master bedroom, one in the second bedroom, one in the living room, and one in the den off the kitchen. Three televisions are available: one in the master bedroom, one in the basement, and one in the in-law apartment. A gas grill and fire pit are available seasonally from May through September, weather permitting. (Wood for the fire pit is not provided.) The property comes stocked with complimentary start-up amenities including toilet paper, paper towels, shampoo, conditioner, dish soap, dishwasher pods, laundry soap, hand soap, sponges, and trash bags. Sheets, bedding, and towel sets are provided, with backups available throughout the unit. Trash and recyclables are picked up once a week on Saturday by a local contractor - place them together in a trash bag in the outside bin to the right of the garage.
