Located amidst the peaceful residential neighbourhood of Mashobra, our home is a splendid escape 10 Km away from the commercial craziness of Shimla. - 8 hours drive from Delhi - 3 hours drive from Chandigarh. Elderly Friendly | Elevator | Private Terrace | Power Backup Please read the detailed description below. The space About our property: Our property is a combination of two homes. 1) A beautiful luxury mountain Pent-home (5 BHK) spreading across 5,000 Sq.ft. and having a huge private terrace with a panoramic view of the gorgeous forest-covered valleys, and mountains. 2) A luxury 3 BHK apartment below the Pent-home spreading across 3,000 Sq.ft. ~Property Layout~ * The pent home is a duplex home on 2 levels (4th & 5th Floor) * The 3 BHK apartment is on the 3rd Floor * In combination the home comprises of 3 Bedrooms on the 3rd Floor, 3 Bedrooms on 4th Floor and 2 Bedrooms on 5th Floor. * The 5th Floor architecture is inspired by the Swiss Alps and is intentionally designed for nature enthusiasts. There are no curtains/blinds on the 5th Floor in the bedrooms and the Living room and there are cutouts in the ceiling/roof to give the feeling of sleeping under the stars. Both the bedrooms on the 5th floor have windows on 2 sides (these rooms are designed to have panoramic views from the bed itself). Late risers should not opt for this room, or they are welcome to use eyeshades for sleeping during the daytime. * A total of 4 bedrooms (i.e. 2 bedrooms on the 3rd floor, 2 bedrooms on the 4th floor) have en-suite bathrooms * 2 bedrooms (i.e., 3rd bedroom on both 3rd and 4th floors) have an adjacent bathroom which is shareable with the living room on each level * The 2 Bedrooms on the 5th Floor have a common bathroom shared with the 3rd living room on the 5th Floor * There are a total of 3 living rooms (one on each level) * There are 2 dining areas (one on 3rd Floor and one on 4th Floor) * The 5th-floor living room opens onto the terrace (the terrace is an additional 2,000 Sq.ft.) and has outdoor furniture. The terrace is breath-taking, and one of its only kind in the entire area. One can even view Wildflower Hall (Kufri), the Viceroy's estate (Shimla), and many other important places from the terrace. * There are 2 Kitchens (one on 3rd floor, and other on 4th floor) * The 3BHK and the 5 BHK Pent home are not connected internally, but connected through the staircase and the elevator. ~Accessibility & Movement~ * The 3rd & 4th Floor is accessible via elevator from the stilt parking * The 3rd & 4th Floor have wheelchair-friendly accessibility and no steps for wheelchair movement between the 3 bedrooms, bathrooms and living room on each floor. In total, this property will have 6 wheelchair-friendly rooms. * The 5th Floor is accessible only via the internal staircase from the 4th Floor. The elevator does not go to the 5th Floor. ~Amenities~ * 2 Bedrooms on the 3rd Floor have 55-inch LED TVs with Netflix * A 42-inch HD LED TV with Netflix has been provided in the Living Room of the 4th Floor for family viewing * 100 MBPS Wi-Fi connection is available throughout the property (better access on the 3rd & 4th Floor, limited access on the terrace) * Both kitchens have the most required utensils, appliances like a double-door refrigerator, RO water purifier, microwave, oven, gas stove, induction stove, toaster, mixer grinder, etc., and necessary cutlery, crockery and glassware. * The washing machine is available on the 3rd Floor * There are Bar cabinets on the 3rd and 4th floors that have been locked with our glassware which is not for guest usage * All bathrooms have storage water heaters for hot water supply (25-40 Lts each) * Fans/air-conditioning not required * Heaters/heat convectors have been provided in all rooms for usage in winter. An LPG heater is kept in each living room for winter months (an LPG heater is for the usage of 1-2 hours only and cannot be used for sleeping). * Electric Blankets have been provided in all rooms * 100% Power backup is available through a common generator (for the building). The generator is switched on in case of a power outage for more than 15 minutes. It is not switched on instantly. * Fresh clean Linen is provided at every check-in ~Our care for you~ * We have caretakers to look after you and pamper you during your stay. The cleaners come between 10 AM - and 4 PM, and the cook is a resident at the property (in the service quarters at the stilt level) * Our Guest Relations Manager will be there to look after you so that you do not have to worry about anything during your stay * We provide fresh clean linen, towels, and toiletries (shower gel, shampoo, handwash, toilet paper), for our guests. Dental / Shaving kits are not provided. ~Meals & Dining~ We have a meal package as below: * Rs. 300 per person for breakfast * Rs. 200 per person for Hi-tea * Rs. 600 per person for lunch * Rs. 800 per person for dinner * Rs. 100 per person extra for chicken, and Rs. 200 per person extra for mutton The food is prepared fresh, and all ingredients are bought fresh. Please let us know 1 day in advance that you desire meals, so that we can organize things. *A stay arrangement for 1-2 nannies is possible in the living areas. Mattresses and quilts will be provided for them; however, they should carry their bed linen. They will have to use the caretaker's bathroom only located at the stilt level. A charge of Rs. 500 per nanny per day will be applicable. **Stay arrangements for other helpers like your cook or driver are not available at the property. We can help find accommodation within a 1-2 km distance at an additional cost (subject to availability). Parking for 3-4 cars is available in the stilt area. Guest access Our guests are most welcome to enjoy all areas and facilities of the property. We can organize an open-air barbecue (on the balcony) at an extra cost (Rs. 1000) for each time use. Bonfire is not permitted as per local laws. Other things to note ~The nearby stores selling basic groceries are located about 500 M away. The market shuts down by 7:30 - 8:00 PM so we request our guests to plan their purchases accordingly. ~Water is scarce in the mountains. We request our guests not to waste water. Adequate water will be provided for your stay. If we observe a wastage of water, a water refill charge of Rs. 500 per day will be applicable. ~Electricity Conservation: Adequate power will be available to the guests to have a comfortable stay. To prevent wastage of electricity, we recommend consumption of 100 Units per day (calculated pro rata for the entire listing of 8 BHK). This calculation is sufficient for running the house with heating and necessary consumption. Our team will inform the guests if the power consumption is going beyond the recommended usage. We request our guests to turn off room heating/water heaters when going out, and not leave them unattended. Additional consumption will be chargeable at Rs. 7.50 per unit. Please note: You will see 3 listings by the name Mystica. * The current listing is Mystica - 8 BHK (triplex) which is a combination of the 3 BHK & 5 BHK listings in case you wish to book for more people (up to 16 Adults + 2 Kids). * The other listings are Mystica - 3BHK apartment, sleeps 6 Adults + 2 Kids and Mystica - 5BHK Pent home, sleeps 10 guests, which can be booked individually if you are looking for a smaller group size. Our property is a private home and not a hotel. Please do not expect hotel kind of services at the property. We focus on cleanliness, good quality well-maintained linen, and homely comfort for our guests. There will be a mandatory refundable security deposit of ₹ 25,000 to be paid by the guest at the time of check-in via Cash/UPI and the same will be refunded at the time of check-out in original mode.
