A family run, cosy cottage in central Wadebridge ideal for exploring North Cornwall. A comfortable stay for couples/ families with young children. The recently refurbished kitchen & patio gives you modern convenience in a 350 year old cottage. With the classic cottage feel of an AGA and log fire with big comfy sofas it is the perfect base to relax and recharge after a busy day. The stunning beaches all are within easy reach from this prime location in the bustling town of Wadebridge The space A well-equipped completely refurbished kitchen featuring an Aga for the true cottage experience (Aga switched off in May- September otherwise cottage will become uncomfortably hot) backed up by a conventional electric oven & hobs, allowing you to cook if you dont fancy enjoying the many local restaurants & takeaways on offer. A space saving table and chairs also features in the kitchen to enjoy homecooked meals on. The living space is cosy with large comfortable sofas and a wood fire for nights in. If you prefer to dine and spend time outdoors there is a new fully patioed courtyard with a bbq & table and chairs for you to enjoy. Upstairs a large double room with original hardwood floor, a reading chair and plenty of space for a cot. Across the landing the bathroom, with bath and electric power shower over the bath. The smaller room has two single beds and a wardrobe. Bedding and bath towels are provided for your stay. Guest access The cottage has a private driveway right next to the property for ease of access and unloading your car. We advise guests to reverse in to the parking space, as Parked cars opposite can make access tight. There is also Additional, free of charge, on street parking within the vicinity of the cottage. A key safe is available for easy check-in. It is a flat, pretty walk into Wadebridge town centre along the river. Other things to note Wadebridge supermarkets: Co-op, Lidl, Aldi, Tescos, B&M. Wadebridge amenities: Playground, park, leisure centre, tennis courts, cinema, restaurants, pubs, library, butchers, bakeries, greengrocers, post office, independent shops, cafes, bike hire, petrol station, bookmakers, laundrette. Plenty of bike hire places in the town if you would like to cycle the trail to Padstow & catch the ferry to rock to enjoy the soft sandy beach. Alternatively an easy 15 minute drive by car. Surfboard hire is available at the world famous Polzeath Beach.
