Guest access Guests will have access to the entire cabin and property, including all indoor and outdoor living spaces, the game room, bunk room, and private sledding hill. A few owner storage closets are locked and unavailable to guests. During the summer season, guests may also enjoy access to Blue Lake Springs' private recreational facilities (guest fees apply), located just a short 5-minute walk from the cabin. Other things to note 🐾 Pet Friendly We welcome up to 2 dogs per stay. Please keep pets under your control at all times, be respectful of our neighbors, and clean up after your pets. Pets are not permitted on furniture or beds unless covered with protective blankets. 🔇 Quiet Hours Pinecone Chalet is located in a peaceful residential mountain community. Please be respectful of our neighbors and observe quiet hours after 10:00 PM. Parties, events, and large gatherings are not permitted. 🚭 No Smoking Smoking or vaping is not allowed anywhere inside the cabin or on the property. 🔥 Fire Safety Due to the high wildfire risk in the Sierra Nevada, guests may not bring or use propane fire pits, wood-burning fire pits, outdoor fireplaces, fireworks, or any other open flames on the property. Fire restrictions are in effect year-round and are strictly enforced for the safety of our guests, neighbors, and surrounding forest. 📹 Security Cameras For security purposes, an exterior camera monitors the driveway area only. There are no cameras inside the cabin or in any private outdoor spaces. 🚽 Septic System The cabin operates on a septic system. Please flush only toilet paper and avoid placing wipes, paper towels, feminine products, or other items in the toilets. ❄️ Winter Travel Winter in Arnold is magical, with snow-covered forests, sledding, and easy access to Bear Valley. Weather conditions can change quickly, and AWD/4WD vehicles or chains may be required depending on conditions. Guests are responsible for monitoring weather forecasts and road conditions prior to travel. ⚡ Mountain Living Like many mountain communities, occasional power outages, internet interruptions, or weather-related delays can occur. While uncommon, these events are outside of our control and are part of the mountain experience. 🌲 Blue Lake Springs Access Guests may enjoy access to Blue Lake Springs recreational facilities during operating seasons.
