Old School Manor - The Lodge

The Lodge is set in a one acre site enclosed by a 5ft high wall, and away from the main road providing a safe, relaxing and quiet environment. The Lodge is well placed, within 10 minutes of The National show caves for Wales, Henrhyd waterfall and the hugely impressive Four Waterfalls country. In addition, if you want to get high, the property is located only 15 minutes from Zip World and 30 minutes from Pen Y Fan. If you prefer beaches we are 30 minutes from Swansea bay and the Mumbles. The space The property is a newly built accommodation, set in the grounds of a converted Edwardian school. A fully fitted kitchen includes an induction hob, fridge/freezer, oven/microwave, toaster, kettle. There is a breakfast bar and a work table within an open plan lounge area. There is a double bed on the first floor with an additional single sofa bed to enable a younger child to sleep in the same room as their parents. In the living area there are two sofa beds - these can be used in a number of combinations. There are great views of the Cribarth Mountain (Sleeping Giant) from the upstairs bedroom. During the summer months we share the Manor building with around 100 House Martins, who provide amazing aerial displays in the evenings. You will also spot Common Buzzards, Sparrow Hawks and the odd Red Kites soaring over head. Guest access The property is situated at the end of a private driveway and benefits from 24 hour CCTV. The gates to the property can be locked upon request if extra security is required for valuable vehicles or vehicle content. There is ample parking for all combinations of vehicle next to the lodge. Other things to note The property is set in a wonderful part of Wales with easy access to the M4 and the Heads of the Valleys Road.
