Nestled in a beautiful country setting, this newly renovated 3 bedroom home is a great place to rest and unwind. Echo and Rockport reservoirs within 15 min, and fly fishing on the nearby Weber River running through town, (blue ribbon!). 20 min to Park City, 43 min to SLC airport, 45 min to Snow Basin. From 2018-2021, two friends renovated and created this unique custom home featuring modern upgrades and authentic reclaimed style. Private setting with a nice shady creek on the property. The space The home features a single-level open design. A custom quartzite trapezoid kitchen island serves as the centerpiece of the kitchen, dining, and living room spaces. These flow seamlessly into one another and provide for open movement around the space. The kitchen backsplash and accent wood is 70 years old and was reclaimed from the original roof of the home. The undeniable character and tone of the wood invokes a sense of timelessness and warmth. The living room offers a gas fireplace with a brand new 55" QLED TV, sectional leather couch and a bay window with seating. The clear glass dining table will comfortably seat 6 people with an additional 5 bar seats around the kitchen island for guests. The kitchen is set up very well with all the utensils you’ll need, and quality pots and pans that include both stainless and cast iron for your cooking needs. We also keep organic condiments stocked along with a good selection of spices. There is a coffee maker that brews both hot and cold drinks, along with a stovetop espresso maker. There are two generous sized bedrooms on the north side of the home, with one bedroom offering a glass patio door with direct access outside. Queen beds with high thread count sheets and super comfy mattresses provide for a cozy stay. These two bedrooms share a light and bright full bathroom, with a deep soaking Kohler bathtub surrounded by euro glass and a custom built oak vanity w/ black onyx sink. The third bedroom and second bathroom are located on the west side of the home. At a slightly smaller size this bedroom is perfect for the kids or a couple. Also complete with super comfy queen bed. Check out the reclaimed wood walls in the closet, which also hosts a new stacked washer/dryer combo for your laundry needs. The second bathroom features art deco tile in the full euro glass shower enclosure and another custom built oak vanity. Finally step into the original garage space that was converted into a vaulted ceiling family room. A reclaimed antique table now serves as a barn door, which offers privacy and separation from the main area if needed. 3 large windows face south towards trees and a reclaimed shed building, with a sliding glass door opening to the East carpark and a patio door opening west to a small deck and great views of Lewis Peak. A perfect room for watching sports, your favorite movie, or that series you've wanted to catch up on with a brand new 65" QLED TV and 5 channel soundbar to complete the experience. This room has both heat and A/C to keep you comfortable in both the winter and summer months and a queen-sized sleeper sofa to accommodate more guests, (bringing total guests to 8). The sleeper sofa has a new upgraded springless foam mattress that is actually quite comfortable. A fire pit with string lights is maintained for all those campfire chats and toasted marshmallow needs! Wood provided on site. Guest access The neighborhood is very safe, and the property offers parking for two to four vehicles. Please drive the speed limit and watch out for deer and elk in the evening and night time, as they are always present. Other things to note We are on a septic system, so please only toilet paper flushed down the toilets. No disposal on kitchen sink for the same reason, so please no coffee grounds or other small particulates down the drain. Sink has strainer that has served us well.
