There is plenty of parking space so bring your boat or snowmobile trailers with you! 30 day monthly stays available. The space The Hunt Cabin is a cozy clean place to rest after the fun outside. True to form on real ranches the Hunt Cabin is unique. Looking close you may realize it's a manufactured home with added on rooms and lots of remodeling in the bathroom and kitchen. Four rooms include, one queen bed, two twin beds, and two sets of twin bunk beds. The kitchen has everything you need to cook. The real draw to our place is the experience and access to private land for snowshoeing and cross country skiing in the winter and hiking in the summer. There is a historic barn and 100 year old ranch home just outside the cabin. We have many guests ask to bring pets.; we cannot allow pets due to having guests and family members with allergies that stay with us. Only a few miles across the valley is Saddle Back Ranch where you can have fun snowmobiling, horseback riding, tubing, and sleigh/wagon rides. Access our private land for hiking dirt jeep trails in summer and snowshoeing in winter (Trails are not groomed but may be packed down from family use). Staying on our historic family ranch is more than coming to ski and play in town, it's about getting to know the western roots of Steamboat Springs.
