Attached solarium is a big plus for this very large bedroom with King size bed. The room includes a fold down sofa that sleeps one comfortably along with a large bathroom with walk-in shower and is wheelchair friendly. Room has separate entry access. Large over-sized room with gorgeous cherry hardwood floors. Plenty of spaces to relax and get good nights sleep. Step into the adjoining solarium to enjoy your coffee and or simply sit and watch the world go by. The Theresa room now has its own small refrigerator, Keurig coffee station and microwave for your personal use. Non-feather pillows and comforter are available upon request. Wheelchair accessible with separate entry! Not too many places can boast of this feature. News flash- NY State regulations require us "not" to advertise food offerings lest we be held to conform with NY State Bed and Breakfast regulations. We use a Keurig coffee machine with a good selection of different roasts and coffee varieties at your disposal. We have an acre of land and are currently restoring the butterfly and bird friendly garden; please feel free to stroll and explore. We are very social but have busy schedules with work and our current projects around the house. Always open to a glass of wine with savories if we are free. There is a great hiking and bike trail very close to our home that is very popular with the locals. Lots of shopping and some good places to eat nearby that are reasonably priced. Of course the Susquehanna River is directly behind our home and is always a pleasure to take a stroll along the riverbank. Also some great outdoor parks for the more serious hikers who want to be in more natural settings. Jones Park and IBM Glen are two that we are fond of using. There is some public transportation but as with all small urban areas in Upstate NY, using an automobile is your best means of transport. There is plenty of off street parking on the property. We have a very friendly dog here in the house; her name is Mila and she loves lots of attention. That being said, we are of course open to other pet guests. Mila is great with other dogs and loves to play. We will be glad to recommend any of the myriad of dog friendly parks located in the Binghamton area. Our home is located in a very busy travel corridor and there is some ambient noise typical of a small metropolitan area; an occasional ambulance, fire siren and some traffic may pass by. It looks like a country home, but we are in an urban area. NO SMOKING in the rooms, but please feel free to use the balcony access or the large wrap around porch and deck attached to the house, or simply meander down to the river.
