The house is situated in a quiet lane, which is part of the historic Pilgrim’s Way, leading off one corner the main square by the White Horse pub, opposite a steep bank with St Mary’s church at the top. There is a further room down stairs from the dining room with french doors accessing the rear garden. This room is also a home cinema with projector, electric screen, surround sound and reclining sofa. The landscaped garden, some 50m long, has a large area of wooden decking at the top with a large table and reclining chairs. Steps lead down to a further seating area with cast-iron table and chairs. Guest access There is off-street parking for one car at the front of the house. The road is narrow and one-way so it is not possible to park more than one car in front. However, there is free parking in the main square, although space is limited, and a large free car park at the bottom of Taylor’s Hill, just 10 minutes walk away.
