Middle Stanley House is set in the heart of the Cotswolds and is a beautiful old farmhouse. With 6 bedrooms, 5.5 bathrooms and 2 kitchens. The house enjoys stunning views from both the sitting room and dining room, which have open log fire places. In the grounds there is a tennis court, outdoor dining area and fabulous walks nearby. The house is on an estate with other cottages. The space The house is perfect for family and friend celebrations, there are childrens toys and books, a games cellar and a quiet traditional sitting room with a beautiful view so there really is something for every age. There are two highchairs, a travel cot, play kitchen and books available for guests to use. We can also recommend a trusted baby-sitter should you need one. Bedroom and bathroom 6 is on the ground floor which is often sought after for any guests looking for a more accessible bedroom option. We have caterers that we work with who are able to offer a wide range of options during your stay should you require. From three course meals with a private chef and staff to clear up or a delivery of beautiful homemade easy to pop in the oven dishes. We can happily help you organise the perfect dinner party set up. We are a short ten minute drive away from Cheltenham Racecourse, a popular destination for both the horse racing and also other musical and lifestyle events. We can help organise drivers for your stay and can assist with catering your stay if required. Middle Stanley House is popular with business retreats. With six rooms and five bathrooms, there is plenty of space for teams to stay whilst the dining room with large screen and table works as a great function space. The house also benefits from fibre optic wifi so you can be productive whilst enjoying the grounds and rest of the house for some downtime. Traditional upright piano. Downstairs Loo: With coat and shoe storage Sitting Room: Cosy sofa suite, open fireplace (winter months only) Cellar: Games Room with access to the garden, games can rotate but currently there's a pool table, table football and electric drum kit. The Wing - attached to the the main house but with a separate entrance: Bedroom 5: Double bed with shower ensuite (Bathroom 4) Bedroom 6: Double Bed (Ground Floor) Bathroom 5: Shower (Ground Floor) Living Space: Kitchen with small fridge, oven / hob, toaster kettle and small dining table. Corner sofa and TV area Outside space: There is a garden to the front of the property with outdoor seating. The views are spectacular and a beautiful spot to enjoy the sunset. There is a tennis court which is quite old but fine for a fun knock about! Guest access Around six cars can fit comfortably on the private driveway. Local taxi firms are available if you need them and Cheltenham Spa train station is a short 20 minute car journey away. Cheltenham Spa to London Paddington is a frequent and easy 2 hr train route for anyone looking to visit from London. Other things to note **** Middle Stanley House does not allow large parties, we have a strict no outdoor noise policy after 10pm to protect the estates other guests / residents. Please do not book if you're looking for somewhere to party all night.**** Please note if you're looking for a modern style home then this property won't be for you... but, it has buckets of character and is a beautiful traditional farmhouse with its own unique quirks! We have a tennis court here which guests are welcome to use during their stay. We do ask that you book a time slot with us so we can ensure that it is available for you to use. Please bring your own rackets and balls. The court is old but fine for a fun knock about! The beautiful GWR steam train goes past the farm daily. Wave to the passengers and train conductor as they go past and if you're lucky you might get a train whistle! Please bring your own bathroom towels for your stay. Hot tubs are available at an additional cost via a third party provider. We are happy to help guests book this for their stay (they are usually around £200 for a weekend hire but best to enquire directly with the companies to confirm). The washing machine and tumble dryer is only available for guest who are staying for one week or longer. *We have a decking project that we are working on, there will never be any carpenters on site during your stay and we hope to conclude the project during 2025. There's still plenty of space to enjoy outside.
