The STAY at Liberty Farms is a glamping site set on an organic farm. Upper Canvas Cabins are located above The Nest Lodge for expansive mountain views. All canvas cabins are classic safari style with lots of natural light. Amenities include a king bed, sitting area, desk and private en-suite bathroom with rain shower, toilet and vanity. Covered front decks have Adirondack chairs to relax. Lower Canvas Cabins 8, 9, and 10 are pet-friendly if you would like to bring your pet! The STAY at Liberty Farms is located on a 400-acre certified organic farm in Ghent, NY. Nestled in the hedgerow at Liberty Farms, you will experience the luxury of fresh linens, electricity, and your very own private, custom-designed hotel-quality bathroom and outdoor hot shower, while living immersed in nature. If you like, you will be able to interact with the animals on the farm and accompany the farmers on afternoon chores, tour the horse barn, engage in the organic vegetable fields, enjoy an evening campfire, and much more. You can purchase our organic meat and vegetables and prepare meals on our BBQ grills while you take in the spectacular mountain views, sunsets and sunrises. Should you decide to go out on the town, the glampsite is only minutes away from Hudson’s boutique shops and restaurants, bars, and coffee shops, or enjoy the quaint towns of Chatham and Ghent, or visit historic sites like Olana and the sculpture field at Art Omi. Guest access Guests can relax in their tented cabin, mingle with others at The Nest guest lodge for breakfast and social hours, join the low-key festivities at the fire pit, take in the sunrise and sunset from the observation deck, tour the farm, and explore the natural surroundings, including our many farm animals. Plenty to do and see on and around the farm! Other things to note The Lower Canvas Cabins, like the Upper Canvas Cabins, provide the same spacious interior area and exterior design. The tents are positioned a bit closer to each other but still afford privacy. They are pet friendly, and just a short walk along the glamping path to The Nest, our central lodge, where you will experience spectacular mountain views from the observation deck. Lower Canvas Cabins 8, 9, and 10 are pet-friendly if you would like to bring your pet! This is a wonderful glamping site with friendly, professional staff who pay attention to the details. Each canvas cabin is beautifully decorated and appointed for your comfort, including screens to keep your space bug-free, and heaters for cooler nights. Each tent feels spacious and airy and has a private bathroom. Cooking facilities are available for complimentary use. The Upper Canvas Cabins are located above The Nest guest lodge. They provide a bit more distance between each tent, have expansive mountain views, and include some additional interior design elements. The STAY at Liberty Farms is located just a few miles from Hudson. There is plenty to do on and around the property, and our on-site host is available to assist you with anything you might need.
