Description
The Wheelhouse is a beautifully presented new conversion. Originally a stable block, later a light industry, it has character. It is quiet and peaceful. There are good short walks and history on the doorstep and access to Peaks and Pennine Way. Shops, cafes, restaurants all walking distance. 9 miles to Manchester centre. Direct train 15 mins, 20 min easy walk to station. Bedroom is a double bed on a mezzanine, so low roof. Option for ground floor sleeping if needed. The space This is a self contained property in the grounds of our own home. It is detached and completely private. Open plan living/dining/ kitchen. Steep steps up to mezzanine bedroom, which is big, however you may need to duck - low roof. Full of light with window and Velux. Lovely big shower in bathroom. Guest access Parking is easy - outside the house. Access is through white double gates through the back of the main house. You can park on the driveway if you prefer. Other things to note We are up a steep hill. You can walk down to all local amenities and it is a short up hill steep climb back. Good short walks from the door. Sometimes our postcode does not show up on Satnav. But just call if you end up on a dead end.
