High spec house modern family home with 6 people hot tub in a secluded position at the end of one of the most charming roads in Barnstaple. Close to Fremington Quay and the Tarka Trail, only a short drive to beaches at Instow, Saunton, and Croyde, Westward Ho! We built our house ourselves, completing our project in summer 2018. The house reflects our love of the outdoors and surfing, and you can easily access the surfing beaches around North Cornwall and avoid the Croyde snarl-ups! The space It offers a large reading space adjacent to a fully fitted, modern kitchen with a Double Rangemaster oven, American-style LG fridge freezer with ice and filtered water, sunken sink with spray tap, a large dining table, double air fryer, central unit, and 54-inch TV. There is a seating area for quiet reading in the kitchen - its a big open plan room! Bi-fold doors lead onto decking, and the back garden boasts a bespoke seating area with day bed and cushions, a built-in 6-person hot tub and tropical plants, banana trees, that are lush and in full bloom in the summer months. A new comfortable lounge cinema room boasts a 64 inch tv off the snug and kitchen so you can watch a film away for the social space. Upstairs, the accommodation is split into 4 bedrooms. The double room has an adjacent shower room, the king room is next to the family bathroom, the large single room has a single bed and a cot, the 2-person bunk room has a desk, and the family bathroom features a large bathtub. All beds have memory foam or luxury spring mattresses. Guest access Ample parking for up to 3/4 cars on private driveway. Keys will be left in a key lock and we will send you the code prior to check-in. We provide a house manual with recommendations of places to go. We thoroughly recommend heading to North Cornwall (the drive is stunning) and the waterfall on the Heartland Peninsula. Other things to note Our home is very clean and tidy. Its uncluttered and very comfortable. Please read our books but put them back when you are finished. This is our home and not a holiday rental so the kitchen is very well kitted out for cooking.
