You will love the simple and elegant decor of this 18th century stone house, located in the heart of a village in the countryside, close to the Rambouillet forest, the Château de Maintenon and Chartres, where each single room has its own private bathroom, in a setting punctuated by artistic touches, carefully chosen objects, paintings painted on site available for sale, and a living and soothing garden, conducive to rest and inspiration. The space The Domaine des Pousses is a lively place. Each room is independent, carefully decorated. Shared spaces — living room, dining room, reading corners — are designed for comfort and tranquility. The kitchen is accessible only as part of the meals offered on site (artisanal jars, aperitif boards), in order to preserve the balance between hospitality and private use. This operation allows everyone to fully enjoy the setting, while respecting the spirit of the Domaine. Guest access The Domaine des Pousses is located 5 minutes from Epernon by car, 20 minutes from Rambouillet, 40 minutes from Chartres and one hour from Paris. Epernon is on the Paris–Chartres–Nogent line (Régio, TER or Corail): the journey from Paris takes about 48 minutes. A shuttle can be arranged between the station and the Domaine (€10 round trip), or you can book a taxi. Walking from the station is also possible (about 20 minutes). To explore the surroundings, you can rent bikes from TOC TOC, 11 rue Chateaubriand in Rambouillet The GR® 655 Ouest – Saint-Jacques-de-Compostelle route (Paris/Tours) crosses the Eure-et-Loir department from Epernon to Cloyes-sur-le-Loir, via the Chartres Cathedral: ideal for hiking and heritage lovers. During your stay I am available, with Valérie who works alongside me, to welcome you, guide you or advise you according to your desires: walks, good addresses, local experiences or practical organization. You are free to enjoy the place independently, or to let yourself be guided from time to time. Other things to note @domainedespousses For your convenience, we offer a selection of artisanal jars to be reheated on site, accompanied by potatoes from the garden or organic rice. An ideal solution for dining without going out, with ease. Drinks are available at an additional cost. For an aperitif, let yourself be tempted by our tasting boards: beef rillettes with candied lemon, Perche sausage, farm goat cheese, artisanal chips and organic bread from the village. A 100% vegetarian option is available, subject to availability.
