We are a mother and daughter and live in our home full-time. One bedroom is downstairs, across from the guest bedroom, and the other is upstairs. We share many of the common areas. We can offer travel suggestions, tips about the area, restaurant recommendations and more. We work full time during the week and are in and out of the house on weekends. We live on a quiet and residential street but are close to main roads. We are walking distance from local bus stops and a quick 5 minute drive to the Metro North train station that provides access both upstate and to New York City. We are also minutes from the City of Peekskill, a popular destination for restaurants, bars, shops and nightlife. FYI: The food shop that Air BnB lists in Peekskill is no longer open. If you have access to a car, you can enjoy the endless adventure opportunities that the Hudson Valley provides. We are happy to give recommendations as we are avid hikers, runners, campers and outdoor enthusiasts. We are 5 minutes from several scenic riverfront parks and walkways. Bear Mountain is a quick 20 minute drive which provides year round activities including hiking and skating. We are in the suburbs and a car is necessary. However, There are local taxi services available for use. Bus routes are also within walking distance. Metro North trains provide quick and convenient access to NYC, NJ and upstate New York. Our home is the perfect destination for any adventure.
