Description
Nestled in the coastal shrub is our 'no frills', guesthouse/cabin. Located just minutes from Beachport and a short drive to Southend, find yourself falling asleep with the sea and waking to birdsong. Don't expect anything fancy, just enjoy the local surrounds, spending time outside and exploring the region. A neat tidy cabin ideal for a couple or small family. Basic kitchenette and BBQ provided (including oven & gas stovetop) ***NOTE: Maximum recommended capacity is 2 Adults and 4 Children.* The space Our nostalgic cabin, reminiscent of a childhood holiday, offers the basics for a coastal getaway. The space is small, tidy and simple. If you’re not fussed about the out dated interior, this cabin is all you need to enjoy the beautiful Limestone Coast. Guest access The cabin is nearby the main home on the property, we encourage you use the space around the cabin, although it is limited with coastal shrub. Pets are welcome to roam if you wish but be reminded we don’t have fencing to keep your fur friends secure. The cabin is located off the road with bush in between and in the past many owners let their dogs off leash and we encourage it if you are happy. Other things to note Please note: - Basic cooking facilities include an Oven and gas stovetop, microwave, BBQ and Bar Fridge. - no secure fencing on the property but dogs are more than welcome to roam or be tied up. We do request that in the evening you secure your pet or have them in the cabin. (No pets on furniture please!) - main bed is a double bed, the bunk beds are smaller than your average single bed. (Designed for kids but we have had the occasional adult use the bunks) - in the winter heating includes an oil heater and Dyson fan heater (keeping it toasty) - cooling includes a ceiling fan and an old air con with fan only function. Hot days are rare here. - beach access is roughly 500-700m up the main highway in either direction. This is on foot or 4WD access. Keep in mind the highway can get busy during peak season if you choose to walk from here. We recommend driving and parking. Or walking down Rivoli and Admella drive and onward connecting to the path that takes you to the surf beach/into town. It’s roughly a 35min walk to town centre, 15min walk to surf beach
