Islesboro Boathouse

The Boathouse is on Gilkey Harbor with western views over the Camden Hills and spectacular sunsets. Full use of dock directly in front of the boathouse. Full beachfront access & many acres to explore! LGBT friendly. Harbor tour can be arranged at an additional cost. The space The Boathouse is like nothing you've ever seen. A 120 year old boathouse turned into a cozy, warm & vista filled space that you'll never want to leave! We do have a mooring if you wish to boat in, we request you do bring your own dingy & other transportation to get you around the island. Guest access We have 11 acres and lots of beach front access. We like to make sure you enjoy all of the nature on our property but do request you stay off the main house's grounds & avoid disturbing the guests next door. Other things to note Please plan accordingly as you MUST take a ferry to get to our property. We recommend booking a reservation with your ferry ride over to ensure your desired arrival time! If you arrive later in the day, please be sure to bring provisions with you, the island has 2 markets, both close by 6pm! I do not charge an additional cleaning fee, so please keep that in mind when you leave.
