Please note that we have a Labrador retriever that has free roam of the property!!!!!! Dish TV Wi-Fi is available on the premises but may not work in the Cabin!!!!!!!!! The space NOTES: Your perfect Glamping getaway! Heat for this cabin is provided by the woodstove shown. Knowledge of operating a woodstove is preferred. An electric heater may be provided. If we are available and have firewood we will be happy to provide firewood for a donation. This cabin is literally 5 feet to the Huron national forest where you can collect plenty of kindling and plenty of deadwood. The cabin is equipped with one twin bed with two mattresses. One mattress can be put on the floor for a second guest (extra sheets provided in a tote/no fires allowed in this configuration). Important: (My property is secluded although, this cabin is located near my home as well as my garage and two other rentals that are 500ft + away). Sometimes you may have the entire run of the property to yourselves as I work approximately half the time and I am away. Each of the rentals has its own private bonfire pit. Please coordinate with us regarding letting dogs run free to make sure they get along with other dogs that may be running free. We also provide dog runs. A shovel will be provided to remove droppings and toss in the forest. A key will be provided in the deadbolt. If key is removed, the door will lock and not unlock without the key. Do not leave key inside of cabinet or you will get locked out! This is a bare essentials cabin. You may set up a tent for other guests in your party to stay. (Be sure to add additional guests when booking). The cabin is located a few short miles to loon Lake beach and 8 miles to the Ausable River for canoeing/kayaking. This is a pet friendly location as long as the pet is non-aggressive towards children or other animals. Smoking is allowed on front porch. please deposit butts in the provided can. Cabin is ideal for someone looking for a little more comfort than rustic camping in a tent. Keep in mind there is no AC, running water, sink , shower, or flushing toilet. You do however have a beautiful outhouse with electricity. You also have dish TV. We are a perfect location for riding ATVs and snowmobiles as we are ordering that you’re a national Forest and you can also drive right from the cabin to the Trail head about a quarter-mile down the road. Hunting is excellent around here. Although when renting this cabin, hunting may not be permitted on this property.
