Situated in the sweet spot between Pomona in the Noosa hinterland and the bustling historic town of Gympie you are close to everything but far enough away to forget it all.  So easy to get to …only minutes from the M1 but totally quiet. Imagine a country side getaway surrounded by the beautiful calls of the whip Bird, as you sit on your own private patio overlooking the Tandur rainforest. The Retreat is completely screened from the main house (50mts away) by shrubs so your privacy is assured. The space Totally private and a separate building to the main house you will have the retreat to yourselves. The retreat is fully screened and air conditioned so you are guaranteed to be comfortable. The living area features a huge kitchen with a stainless steel double wide oven, slow cooker and microwave. The lounge room is also spacious and open. Lots of room to move around and a dedicated work space that is laptop friendly with fast and reliable wifi. Don’t forget to allow wifi calling to your phone. The patio features a bbq and outdoor setting so you can enjoy the peaceful surroundings and of course the bird life and the cattle wandering past while you cook. Both bedrooms are spacious and the beds are comfy a real home away from home. For an extra person we have a very comfortable fold up bed available on request. Guest access Our driveway is not too long and even the smallest cars will negotiate it with ease. Maccas beefy pies and takeaways milk and essentials are a short 5 min drive back to the Traveston Service Centre Bigger shopping is available at Aldi or Woolworths about 14 mins drive to Gympie or the IGA in Pomona only 10mins away. Other things to note We are sorry but only accept adult small to medium dogs as your furry friends at the Retreat. No cats or puppies please. Telstra has coverage here but not Optus. But simply allow wifi calling on your phone and you are all set. There is free Netflix at the Retreat and a Samsung smart TV.
