Cozy tree-top getaway

Located against the dramatic backdrop of the Wolkberg Mountains, our rustic and cozy wooden treehouse cabin is the perfect secluded spot in nature. Just 15km out of Haenertsberg, and directly on the R528, it is perfect for a weekend of relaxation or adventuring on the mountain. Fall asleep to the sounds of the Groot Letaba river and wake up to bird calls from our resident Green Turaco. The diverse local fauna attracts significant bird life - making the panoramic view perfect for bird watching. The space Sliding windows from the open living space open up to the panoramic view of surrounding indigenous forest and Groot Letaba river. Wake up to the sound of the roaring waterfall and tree top views. Enjoy a relaxing evening enjoying the indoor fireplace, or stargazing from our woodfired hot tub. We provide all firewood for the hot tub and indoor fireplace for the duration of your stay. Guest access The cabin is located conveniently right on the R528 and on a tar road. No need for a 4x4, or to travel on a gravel or dirt road to reach the property! Other things to note Cell phone reception is very unreliable in the area and in the cabin, we recommend a good book or board games for weekend entertainment. While there is WiFi, it is limited and can be spotty depending on the weather. It is reliable for emails, etc but not for streaming. Due to the size of the cabin, we can unfortunately not host more than 2 small dogs, or 1 medium - large sized dog. Please also note that other pets live on the property, and while they mostly stick to their own areas, they may come hello especially if you are bringing your own pets along.
