The space The space is equipped for short and long term stays. The location is as central as it gets, with an endless list of cafes, restaurants, bars, clubs and galleries to explore all within walking distance. The building is easily accessible by Uber or e-hailing taxi services which are never in short supply in the area. It must be noted that there is a constant buzz of city sounds from the surrounding establishments which could be overstimulating for those who are sensitive to sound. No refund requests for noise or sounds will be entertained and you are expected to have read the listing details before proceeding to book. Guest access The location is central to all of Cape Town’s attractions such as Table Mountain, the Victoria and Alfred Waterfront and the Cape Town International Convention Centre, all of which are no further than 10 minutes by car. There is ample public transport, Ubers and e-hailing services and the MiCiti and Red Bus to get around. The unit is a 3 minute walk to International House English Language School and a 10 minute walk to EF Language School as well. Other things to note The apartment is a studio apartment situated over a commercial space which operates as a bar. Most guests appreciate the vibrancy and convenience of being within walking distance to restaurants, cafes, nightlife, art galleries, bike rentals and some really funky stores. If you prefer a quieter residential unit with no noise and lights out by 10pm, this might not be a fit for you. The building also has stairs only, no elevators, which means your luggage will need to be carried up and down stairs upon checking in and checking out. The apartment block is unaffected by electricity cuts given its proximity to Parliament and the High Court which are designated as critical supply zones so, electricity never gets turned off. The apartment also offers reliable fibre internet and table and chairs for remote working. There is on-street parking bays (at a fee from 08:00 - 16:30 on weekdays and at no charge during weekends) directly in front of the entrance gate to the building. There is also 24/7 City Centre security (CCID) on patrol by car and foot as well.
