Our condo is located in the Silverpick community just south of Purgatory Mountain Resort. You will have the entire condo to yourself! It has a newly renovated interior with beautiful kitchen, living room, bedroom, and bathroom. The kitchen is fully stocked with everything you will need, including pots and pans, dishes, coffee maker, blender, toaster, and baking equipment. There is a Brita filtered pitcher to ensure purified drinking water from the sink. The dishwasher, stove/oven and refrigerator also allow for complete food prep and easy cleanup for any length of stay. The living room includes complimentary firewood for starting an evening fire, and the couch features a brand new memory foam pullout mattress for extra guests. Each room has individual temperature control, so it is easy to find a comfortable setting during the day and at night. The TV has complimentary Netflix and YouTube TV. Enjoy the back patio for star-gazing at night or easy yard access to the parking lot in the summer. The bedroom features a king bed with plenty of closet storage and drawer space. There is a separate TV as well, which also can be used for Netflix and YouTube TV. The bathroom is newly remodeled and includes a washer and dryer for doing your own laundry. The nearest laundromat is 30 minutes away, so this is a huge perk! We also provide guests with shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and hand lotion. Within the entire condo, WiFi is available free of charge. Parking is free behind the condo, and the back patio can be accessed from the parking lot when the lawn is free of snow. The Silverpick community is located off Highway 550, which offers access to unparalleled hiking, skiing, and mountain biking. 30 minutes north of downtown Durango, and 35 minutes south of Silverton. The condo also shares a year-round community hot tub a few steps out the front door. We live in Durango, so it is not an issue for us to meet you at the condo should you need anything during your stay. The Silverpick community houses full-time residents as well as short-term vacationers. It is a quiet spot just off Highway 550 with quick access to Purgatory Mountain Resort, hiking, and mountain biking. Restaurants include The Nugget Mountain Bar (half-mile north), the Olde Schoolhouse (2 miles south), and The Mineshaft (Glacier Club). Convenience/small grocery store is available at the Needles Country Square (2 miles south), with more wholesome options at PJs Market (20 minutes south in Hermosa) as well as multiple grocery stores in Durango (30 minutes south). Parking is free and located directly behind the condo. Guests should plan to drive or rent a car for their stay, as distances are far between the condo and nearby towns. However, a shuttle to Purgatory is available for a fee. Should guests need transportation from the airport, we are happy to assist for an added fee. Otherwise, cabs are available during the day and can be scheduled in advance if needed in the early morning/late night hours. DO NOT PLAN ON LAST-MINUTE TRANSPORTATION FOR EARLY/LATE HOURS! Durango is a small town, and guests without a car can be stranded at the airport for multiple hours if they do not make arrangements ahead of time to get to the condo. The condo is protected with Ring monitoring. There is a doorbell camera, which helps deter unwanted visitors and property crime. However, there are no other cameras on the property, so rest assured that your privacy is our top priority during your stay. Pets are not allowed. Breaking this rule will result in a minimum charge of $100, plus additional cleaning fees if warranted. The owners live 30 minutes away in Durango, and we are quick to respond to any questions or needs that come up during your stay. We are happy to make your visit feel exceptional in any way possible!
