No.2 Roseville a lovely Victorian, terraced cottage nestled in the small village of Gosforth in the Western Lake District. It offers self catering accommodation for up to four guests. An ideal place to relax or to be adventurous. We are located perfectly to give you great access to the beautiful, unspoilt fells, lakes, rivers, tarns and coastline the area has to offer. We are a perfect place to stay to climb Scafell Pike. We have designed and equipped No.2 Roseville be like a home from home. The space We want No.2 Roseville to be like a home from home and we have provided all we think you will need for a comfortable and enjoyable stay. The accommodation is over two floors with stairs to the bathroom and bedrooms. On the ground floor you will find: A cosy sitting room - log burner, 3 and 2 seater sofas, TV, WiFI Dining room - dining table for four, dresser and sideboard, store & cleaning cupboard, coat pegs and shoe rack. Highchair also available Kitchen & utility - well equipped quirky space with Belfast sink and everything we think you might need. Fridge freezer, washing machine, slimline dishwasher, oven and gas hob, microwave, kettle, toaster, crockery, cutlery , glassware, pots and pans etc boiler for central heating and hot water Garden with patio area, gravel and shrub borders. Shed, great for bikes and outdoor equipment storage. The garden is accessed via the backdoor from the kitchen. On street parking Upstairs you will find: Bathroom with sloping ceiling, WC, wash basin, roll top bath and shower. Double bedroom - double bed, 2 wardrobes, drawer unit, side tables Twin bedroom - 2 single beds, drawers. Also provided: Towels and linen Toilet paper and hand soap Washing up liquid and dishwasher tablets, cloths and tea towels, cling film, tinfoil, tea, coffee, sugar, cooking essentials. Iron and board High chair and travel cot, plug covers, stairgate ( please request) A baby can be a 5th guest. Outdoor dining furniture - plastic outdoor dining crockery set Shed for bike/equipment storage Logs for a log burner fire - some to get you started more can be purchased. Recycling facility Dog bowls Outside toilet with hose - great for cleaning off outdoor gear. Dogs - we do allow a well behaved fury friend, we ask that they are never left alone in the property and are not allow on the sofas and upstairs. Please bag and bin poop! The cottage is in a small terrace and the neighbours also have dogs. If you want to bring an additional dog this will depend on type and size. Please message to enquire Dog bowls provided. Guest access No.2 Roseville is in the heart of the village and amenities can be easily accessed on foot. Parking for the property is free on street parking outside the house. Parking is free throughout the village. There is a village carpark with public toilets near the village shop, pubs, café and restaurant. There is a donations box to help the Parish Council with up keep of the facilities. Other things to note The property has beds to sleep 4 but there is space in the double room for a travel cot (which we can provide on request) or blow up child bed if guests want to bring one.
