University | Scandi Suite – Near RUH & Broadway

Located in the Varsity View neighbourhood, this professionally styled Scandi-inspired suite is within walking distance of the University of Saskatchewan, RUH and Broadway’s shops & cafés. The space This “barely a basement” suite was designed and built just for you to feel peaceful, relaxing and like a spa. It has radiant heating with in floor heat, heated towel bars in the bathrooms, sound proofing between the floors, an oversized fireplace and TV and your own AC (not the window kind) to beat the heat and a south facing patio to soak up the sun. We LOVE this location so much that we moved here! Varsity View is Saskatoon premier heritage area. It’s walking distance to the university and surrounding shopping and entertainment. It’s also next to a park. For those who love nature, you’ll enjoy walking under the canopy of an urban forest in a heritage neighborhood; visiting the beautiful campus; or walk, run or bike along the South Saskatchewan trails right out your front door. For those who love great food, shopping, night life, you will enjoy all that Broadway has to offer. For those who love to learn, this home has hosted many university students for short courses to long term stays. For those who love theatre, culture and festivals, you can fill your cup with the theatre on Broadway and walking to annual festivals hosted within walking distance along the river. Guest access Guests have access to the private suite and a shared south facing pergola patio we designed just for you. (Pictures coming). Parking is available on the new front driveway for cars that do not have oil leaks. If your vehicle leaks, kindly park on the street. Other things to note There is another suite in the basement so there is the potential for noise. We have installed insulation in the walls and resonant channel in all adjoining walls, however, sound can travel through closed doors. We have added door sweeps to reduce that as much as possible but it’s best if guests abide by quiet time hours. There is no place to store bikes on the property other than on the bike rack on your vehicle. Most people just do that. We have also found that it works to lock the bikes to themselves and leave them behind the pergola wood wall, opposite the house so you can’t see them from the street. The TV has the apps listed for you to log onto your Netflix, Prime, etc. account. There is no way to list that under the TV amenity so I’m posting it here.
