Welcome to our charming all-season Chalet in the lakes region of Maine! This home is a waterfront property that is 30 minutes to Sunday River Resort. The pond is lovely for swimming, kayaking, and fishing in the summer. When the leaves turn color in autumn, the view from the house is spectacular! In winter you can ice skate or cross-country ski across the pond after it freezes over. The best thing about being at the Chalet is the lovely sense of solitude and peacefulness you'll find there. Yet it is close enough (20 minutes) to the towns of Norway and Bethel where you can find places to dine out, grocery shop, see live music and more. We are happy to share this amazing home and location with other outdoor adventurers and folks looking for a place to relax. We will have various (seasonally appropriate) recreational equipment for you to use when you stay at the Chalet! The dock and boats are available from around Memorial Day in May, until some point in October (weather depending). We are happy to answer any questions you have about the area or the Chalet! 30 minutes to Sunday River, 20 minutes to Norway, and 20 minutes to Bethel. Zero minutes to nature walks, various hikes, and fun. We've added a Grizzl-e EV charging station (40 amp, 10 KW) mounted on our shed across the driveway from the chalet. It has a J1772 plug, which is the standard North American plug. For the littles-- we have a pack n' play, high chair, gate for the stairs, outdoor water table, and a little stool for reaching the bathroom sink.
