This offering is for guests needing a place for 30-90 days. It is perfect for responsible adult over 21 who has internship, new job or transitioning to Louisville. It has three private rooms for each guest: A bedroom with a king sized bed, A private lounge room with desk, table, and coffee service and A full sized bathroom. They are all separate rooms close together in a hallway. Ideally located minutes from interstate access. Perfect for Covid distancing and for privacy. This offering is set up with the longer term guest in mind and maximizes guest privacy in a home with some shared spaces. You have full access to the kitchen and can store goods in fridge and nearby cupboard. It is a modest home that has welcomed thousands of guests over the past 9 years. The bedroom has a comfortable king sized bed along with desk and comfy chair. The lounge has an amazing recliner for kicking back after work, a desk with office chair , a nice sized table for private dining, and a coffee service bar. The back gives way to woods which adds both beauty and privacy. There's a large deck with table for lovely weather days and also a trail through the woods to a park with a creek. Guests have access to outdoors, kitchen, living room. Feel free to use kitchen for cooking! You can use laundry facilities in basement, and have space in fridge and cupboards. On perfect weather days, many guests have enjoyed a meal at the table on the deck overlooking a naturalized back yard and woods. I play it by ear. Some guests like tour advice, others just want a comfy clean safe place to sleep. I appreciate my own privacy, but also am happy to be of service and available almost anytime. I rent two guest suites. Close to fun yummy restaurants and major arteries, yet blessed with an abundance of mature trees and near by parks. Major Shopping malls just 10 minutes drive or bus. 5 minutes or less to interstate access taking you downtown, airport, or out of town in all directions. Woods behind house is major plus...helps people sleep. Also offers a trail through the woods to a little park and Bear Grass Creek. Just about perfect for a quick "Nature Refreshment" before or after work. Tom Sawyer State Park is just 10 minutes drive as is "Anchorage Trail"...both delightful for casual stroll or a more serious run. A nice walk from my doorstep is along bear grass creek to Whippsmill dam. There's a neighborhood bbq "dive" called "Joe's Older than dirt" two blocks away. Holsopple brewery is also within walking as is great little dance studio with offerings almost every night (Dance Louisville). You can walk to "To Go Sushi"; "Waffle House", Oriental Grocery Store, Walgreens, Subway, Domino's, ... I highly recommend travel by car. Bus service is within two blocks. Guests have used it fine but service is rather limited. Good for travel within Lyndon& St. Matthews area. The 31 bus does go downtown but the ride is long and service infrequent. Great bike trails in and around L'Ville. Also local car ride companies like Uber available. There are no pets living here. There is space rented to one other guest who uses a back entrance.
