Comfy annex in unique modern house close to forest

Our comfortable annex forms part of our unique architect designed home close to the beautiful New Forest and the solent. Ideally placed for walking, cycling and sightseeing in the forest or on the coast, our airbnb is also near the historic city of Southampton. Comprising a private entrance, sitting room with kitchenette and dining area, and a separate double bedroom with en-suite shower room, the accomodation also has it's own private decking area where guests can enjoy the garden. The space The property is located in a quiet residential area at the end of a cul-de-sac. There is a private driveway with ample parking. Guests have their own private entrance accessed via a side gate with keycode. Outside the annex there is a private area of decking with table and chairs and garden views. From here guests enter the accomodation via french doors leading to the sitting room. The whole accomodation has underfloor heating and good quality wi-fi. The sitting room has a sofa, sideboard, large freeview TV, dinning table with 2 chairs and a small kitchenette. There are a selection of board games, some books, and also information about local attractions. The kitchenette consists of a sink with drainer, microwave, fridge, toaster and kettle. Tea, coffee and milk are provided, as are salt and pepper, washing-up liquid, tea towels and chopping board. The sideboard contains plates, bowls, mugs, glasses and cutlery. A door leads from the sitting room to the bedroom. This consists of a king size bed, wardrobe, chest of drawers, chair, long mirror and a small freeview TV. Sheets and towels are provided. There are 4 pillows, a duvet and spare blankets. There is a small motion activated nightlight that can be disabled if required. There is also a smoke alarm. The en-suite is accessed from the bedroom and has an electric shower, heated towel rail, toilet and washbasin with cupboard below. Hand soap and toilet rolls are provided. Guest access The area is quiet but with easy access to shops, restaurants, the New Forest and the coast. There are a good selection of facilities about 10 minutes walk away in Dibden Purlieu, including Tesco express, petrol station, chemist, doctors surgery, dentist, several cafes, hardware store, butchers, bakery, hairdressers and fish and chip shop. There is also a Church of England church. The town of Hythe is a short 10 minute drive or about 30 minutes walk. Hythe has a good selection of shops including Waitrose and Lidl, and a number of cafes, pubs and restaurants. Hythe is next to Southampton water and has a waterfront with exceptional views across to Southampton where visitors can watch the shipping come and go, including many cruise ships. There is also the Hythe to Southampton foot ferry which is accessed via a historic pier with its own railway. Hythe also has a marina with restaurants and views across to Southampton. The New Forest is about 15 minutes walk from the property. You need to cross the bypass but there is a controlled crossing point with traffic lights. From there you can walk for miles and miles as most of the New Forest is free to roam. There are many paths and trails and we know lots we can recommend. The New Forest is also ideal for mountain biking and there are many designated cycle tracks. You are welcome to store bikes at the side of the property behind the locked gate, or bikes can be hired in various places including Brockenhurst which is about 20 minutes drive away. Major nearby attractions include Beaulieu Motor Museum and Exbury Gardens. The area is also ideal for exploring the coast, with places such as Calshot and Lepe Country Park both around 15 minutes drive away.
