The space At the entrance to the Gorges du Verdon and in the Verdon Regional Nature Park, lies a charming hamlet with a breathtaking view. Chasteuil, whose origins date back to the 16th century, is a small hamlet perched on a mountainside at an altitude of 900 metres with good southern exposure. From its picturesque location, it overlooks the entrance to the Gorges du Verdon, famous for its canyon, hiking trails, river and white water sports, lakes and natural beauty. Guest access The common areas are an outdoor terrace and the second-floor veranda with a superb and dominant view, where you can relax, have your meals, use the high-speed fibre, and of course, use the kitchen, as well as the outdoor barbecue. Kitchen equipment: a double sink, 2 hotplates, a microwave and a refrigerator, electric kettle, coffee maker, and toaster. Under the sink is a waste and sorting area. Plenty of crockery, cooking utensils, dish soap, disinfectant, kitchen towels and sponge. Storage wall cupboards. No oven. D952 - C2 Chasteuil is located 2.5 km from D952 road. It is reached by taking a small mountain road, the C2, which is not accessible to caravans. The road is narrow and winding, and you may sometimes have to pull over to pass another car. Other things to note - Especially important for you. There is no food or drink for sale in Chasteuil. We strongly recommend that you bring something to eat, at least for the first day. Once you arrive, you will not want to go out, at least not the first night.
