Your family will be close to everything when you stay at this centrally-located place, 1 mile from Kent, CT. The house is cozy with a stone fireplace, wonderful screened in porch with skylights, two bedrooms, spacious living room with desk, full bath, back porch with fire-pit, grill and table and laundry in the basement. It's perfect for four but our dining room can convert to a spare bedroom as the door shuts and the table folds down. The kitchen is well stocked and we've cooked many meals The space Our home is on .5 acres with a large front yard and fenced in backyard. Our favorite spot to hang out is the screened in porch. We have a spacious living room with a wood burning fireplace, a dining room that can convert to a 3rd bedroom, a well stocked kitchen, a full bath and two bedrooms (1 queen and 1 with two twins). The basement (un-finished with low-hanging pipes) has a washer and dryer. Guest access Kent is a walkable town but despite being only a mile away, you will need a car to get there. There is ample parking in our driveway, enough for three cars. Close (18 minutes) from Mohawk Mountain for skiing and snowboarding! Central to many hiking trails. Other things to note The home is residential and we ask that you please respect our neighbors. This is a perfect spot for families or small getaways with friends but not for large gatherings or parties. Please note that considering we are in the country, mice may make an appearance. While we do the best we can to prevent that from happening (and do not see them frequently), we cannot guarantee it. While the backyard is fenced, there are some small gaps (near trees and uneven land) and dogs should not be left unattended.
