Fireside Retreat-Private Lake Front Cottage

Private cottage nestled in the trees in Highlands East - 2 hours from Durham and 2.5 from Toronto. This cottage has an open concept kitchen, dining, living area with vaulted pine ceilings. Off the kitchen is a large deck with a bbq & patio set for your enjoyment. Outside is a fire pit (firewood included), beautiful nature views and flat land for activities. Stairs take you down to the dock, where you can enjoy swimming or use of the kayaks (liability waiver required) on beautiful Clement Lake. The space Our cottage has two levels for you and your family to enjoy. The main level has three bedrooms, a four piece bathroom and a large open living/dining/kitchen area with a walk out to a large deck. Outside you will find a bbq for cooking meals and a patio set to sit and enjoy the beautiful views of nature. The lower level offers a rec room with a ping pong table and dart board as well as a Office/Den with a futon, desk and TV. There is plenty of space to spread out on the lower level with another living area with a tv and a pull out couch and a three piece bathroom. We have smart TVs with Netflix, Disney and Prime. Six people maximum. We only rent to families and mature groups. Absolutely NO parties or events. Out of respect for our neighbours we expect guests to adhere to all noise bylaws. Guest access Parking area for 3 cars. Other things to note Please note that we have stairs down to the lake. May not be ideal for elderly or small children. Bring all your own bedding/linens including pillows, towels, sheets and blankets. Please inquire about pets. 7 night minimum for all summer bookings (Saturday to Saturday). 3 night minimum for all long weekend bookings. We have three adult life jackets and two kids life jackets. Please bring anything else you need. Signed Liability Waiver is required to use kayaks. Registration Details STR25-00009
