Set on 3 acres, hidden back on a long driveway, the Hilltop Home is a fully renovated 2 bed/2 bath home located on the border of Callicoon and North Branch. It features a brand new kitchen, a living room with a wood-burning stove, and a soaking tub in the master bedroom. There is also a seasonal screened-in dining area. Enjoy a magical Catskills evening by the fire pit or on the scenic patio. A short drive (20 min) to Bethel Woods, skiing at Villa Roma, and kayaking on the Delaware river. **OUTDOOR SPACE** The house sits quietly on a hill surrounded by woods on all sides and mountain views. Off of the master bedroom, there is a small deck that leads onto a beautifully built blue-stone patio and fire pit for your enjoyment with four Adirondack chairs. Sit around the fire with your partner or friends and enjoy the peacefulness of the property. There is also a propane grill on the deck. **THE KITCHEN** If you want to cook a few meals at home you will find an open kitchen with all of the essentials. Enjoy coffee with a french press or Keurig coffee maker, tea kettle, and all the essentials for cooking. There is a 4 person dining table and a seasonal 6 person dining area on the screened-in porch (best used in the warmer weather!) **THE MASTER BEDROOM** The master bedroom has a king-sized bed with an additional entrance to the back patio. There is also a brand new soaking tub with mountain views to help you relax! The en suite bathroom is brand new and features beautiful tile work throughout. There is also a closet for all of your belongings. **THE GUEST BEDROOM** guest bedroom is equipped with a Queen sized bed, dresser, and also features its own brand new bathroom with a walk-in shower. **THE LIVING ROOM** The living area is well-appointed with seating for at least 6 people. There is a wood-burning stove as well as mini HVAC for your comfort. Enjoy watching DVD's from our collection or a night of listening to your own records. **Wi-fi is available for our guests** **The Hilltop House is professionally cleaned after each visit** You will need a car to get around, and you can park cars in the driveway on the property Self check-in (guests will be given a key code to enter). We respect privacy, and will not be on the property during your stay. Feel free to message or call us if you need. The house is located just past our neighborhood dairy farm and just minutes from great bars and restaurants. It is also located less than 10 minutes from the riverside town of Callicoon, where you can find much to eat, drink, shop and browse. Livingston Manor, another storied small town in the area, is a similarly short distance away - about a 20-minute scenic drive. Park in front of the 2 car garage. 4 wheel drive is best during the rain and snow seasons to make it up the driveway. Please note this house is perched on top of a hill/mountain. We do consider pets on a case-by-case basis. If you wish to bring your pet, please send in your booking inquiry: breed, weight, age, and anything you think we should know about hosting your pet. There is a flat pet fee of $200 which goes towards a thorough deep clean after your stay as some guests are allergic to animals.
