Our beautifully restored 3 bedroom 2 bathroom Arts and Crafts Bungalow features original oak woodwork throughout and is a warm and inviting environment for your next visit to Denver. This is our family's primary residence so you'll have access to all of the things you need to make your stay comfortable and relaxing. Great location for visitors who have weddings to attend at Denver Botanic Gardens (10 min walk). Walking distance to the boutique stores in North Cherry Creek Shopping District. The space Our bungalow, originally built in 1916, retains it's original woodwork and built ins common for this architectural era. Warm lighting and modern furniture make our family's home comfortable and inviting. The front porch is graced with a porch swing, small table and chairs to enjoy your morning coffee. Our neighborhood is residential with amazing dining options, grocery stores, and shopping all within walking distance. For those who love to cook, our modern kitchen features a six burner Thermador Gas range and is stocked with all the essentials to help you create your culinary masterpiece. Our eat in dining room has seating for 6 and is a wonderful setting to gather friends and family to enjoy a delicious meal. A modern family room located in the downstairs domain is a great place to gather for a movie. Two bedrooms and the main bathroom are located on the second floor. The whole house fan which is turned on in the evening pulls cool air from the main floor to the second floor. Each bedroom contains ceiling fans, closets, and contemporary furniture. You'll find the third bedroom in the downstairs domain (aka basement) and has a comfy queen size bed, ample closet space and an en suite bathroom. For those traveling in summer, we have a wonderful deck off our kitchen that has an 6-person picnic table, covered umbrella with twinkle lights, and a gas grill. Planters filled with beautiful flowers make this outdoor space relaxing and inviting for summer-time meals. Please note that we do not have air conditioning. Our home is equipped with a whole-house fan and ceiling fans in the bedrooms which keeps the house cool in the evenings. Guest access Guests will have access to all of the rooms in the house and our fenced in backyard. Please be respectful and courteous of neighbors and keep noise levels down after 9:00 pm.
