The Farmhouse at Sweetwater

Welcome to Sweetwater Farm in Henniker . 2 minutes from pats peak mountain and close to many other ski areas!Our familypurchased the Historical Farmhouse (est 1750)in 2006 and recently decided to share it with others. The newly renovated 2 BR farmhouse sleeps 5-6 people. You'll have access to the grounds, including 1000 ft of frontage on the Tooky River (great for swimming, kayaking and fishing).Our guests can also purchase our USDA certified beef and farm fresh eggs to enjoy during your stay The space This spacious farmhouse offers plenty of space for you to enjoy your stay at Sweetwater Farm. Just 2 minutes to pats peak !On the first floor, you'll find a living room, dining room with a game area loaded with games- a toy closet for the kids and a fully equipped kitchen with a dishwasher. Upstairs, you'll find the bathroom with a walk-in shower and 2 bedrooms - 1 with a queen bed and the second with a queen bed, and a double bed. There is also a futon that folds out for additional guests The property sits on 40 acres of land with mountain views in the front and river frontage on back of the property (a short drive away down our dirt road). You are welcome to access the river front to go fishing, swimming or kayaking (we rent kayaks and canoes for$5 per hour), and can also use our shared kitchen near the river, if you feel like grilling! We also raise cows, and chickens on the property, so don't be surprised when you see some farm animals throughout your stay. Guest access You'll have full access to the farmhouse, which is attached to our main house, but completely private! You'll have your own entrance (with key-less entry), as well as parking right out front. There is an outdoor area with a grill ,a fire pit and some patio furniture, which is a great spot to have your morning coffee and do some bird watching. Other things to note We have tons of games for all ages and a lot of toys for the little ones ! I’ve been told by bird enthusiasts that it’s a haven for all kids of species !we are literally 2 minutes away from pats peak and very close to multiple other ski areas -you can access atv trails right from our property !
